Tricks and tips for getting the best rental experience:
Money saving strategies:
- In the Myrtle Beach area, The earlier your group can reserve a home, the easier your search will be. The best rental homes are reserved very early. Reserving your rental home six to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and book your rental home.
- Reserve your Myrtle Beach vacation in Fall or Spring months to enjoy gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner if your group qualifies for a price reduction.
- Booking websites often offer their guests an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.
- Often, property management companies supply Myrtle Beach area travel guides which will include special deals, either offered directly by local companies, or by way of a relationship with the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.
Planning, selecting, and booking the rightvacation home:
- Select a group lead, select your dates, and choose a max budget.
- Decide how many beds and the configuration your family needs. Amazing waterfront views!, AAA Four Diamond Resort, by Luxury Beach Rentals has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
- Precise information about bedrooms and bed counts & types is usually available online. If they are not listed, email the property owner before reserving the vacation property. Note that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which typically includes pull out couches in living rooms.
- Remember to include your furry companions! Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Ask your host before booking, and study your agreement! Additional pet fees or costs might be applied to your invoice.
- If there's a specific Myrtle Beach beach you long to visit, keep an eye out for rentals that are either near by, or those that cater especially to your requirements.
- Appropriate accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. Confirm all required amenities are included before booking.
More considerations for your visit:
- Review arrival and departure procedures before leaving home. Take a printed copy, and save the directions to your smartphone.
- Hosts are great sources of help! Don't be shy to ask any questions during your stay.
- Lock your rental while you are away. Protect your property!
- To make sure no damages are linked to your family's visit, inspect the rental for any problem areas when you arrive. message the property manager right away to record any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having a record of concerns and contact attempts will be very helpful.
- Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay more pleasurable. You'll magnify your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are a great resource to find the best local beaches and hangouts.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Residents can frequently help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
- When it's time to leave, take a walk-through to confirm you haven't forget anything. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Please make sure to walk through the rental a final time and scan for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host is not available, remember to take photos of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
- Remember to leave feedback! Property owners rely on great feedback to stimulate more reservations. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationing families will be thankful you shared your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to solve it.
