Please note above the supplies that we provide. We don't want you to be surprised or disappointed, hence the specific list with exact amounts.
We hope you will keep our place as clean as you would like your own home to be. This is our second home so we hope and pray you take good care of it.
Our kitchen is entirely supplied if you want to prepare.
We have LOTS of silverware, but If you find there is an essential utensil missing, please let us know and we'll see if we can't add it to our repertoire before your next visit ;-)
We adore our HOME HERO knives! They are super sharp. PLEASE help us to keep them sharp; only use them to cut fresh produce, foods and are not meant to open cans, scrape paint or loosen screws...just in case you didn't know ;-)
We have a complete set of cookware and bake ware. It is not a giant kitchen but we provide what we think are the essentials.
We also provide a basic supply of spices. Feel complimentary to leave your spices behind!
We have some modest appliances that we feel are necessary for a comfortable stay, but if you think there is one that would round out your stay without breaking the bank ;-) please let us know! We have a toaster, an electric tea kettle, Nutri-bullet, crockpot and a traditional coffee maker.
Lastly, things break. Batteries die. Remotes get lost. Pans burn. Dishes break. Sometimes previous guests put away a dirty dish or spoon. AND LASTLY, SAND finds its way to the 18th floor! We aim to remove every last sand particle, but alas, we fail. It is not intentional on our part to neglect these items. Unless they are brought to our attention, we will never know! Our cleaning team does not check every dish in the cupboard, or test appliances or count silverware. So please let us know if something needs repair or replaced, then we will appreciate you forever. We want you to have a 5-Star experience, really!
Sorry, NO family pets, NO Smoking. Just don't ;-)
We try to keep the check-out list simple and to do our best to keep our cleaning fee economical, so we savor when you:
- gather trash and take it to trash chute at the end of the hall
- empty refrigerator of all foods
- pile soiled towels in tub
- Start dishwasher (it's a long cycle, so it's nice to have the dishes done so the cleaning team can put them away)
PLEASE NOTE: The “Family Fun Zone (seen from the balcony)” and modest water park on Ocean Blvd. is privately owned, and not available for guests. HOWEVER, you can appreciate all amenities pictured in our photos, including an indoor pool and 2 hot tubs, beachfront pool and lazy river, and of course, Myrtle BEACH...the beach! The Sands Resort is a beachfront property; nothing separating it from the beach. You will be steps away from the handsome white sands beach.
Did we forget anything? Ready to stay with us? We hope so!

Finding the best Myrtle Beach vacation rental experience:
Find your perfect vacation home:
- To get the largest rental home within budget, we strongly suggest reserving in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at local restaurants, tours, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August.
- Reserve your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules often become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacations during Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction.
- Booking websites frequently offer their guests an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for days missed as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for specifics.
- Often, management companies and vacation rental houses supply Myrtle Beach area visitor guide magazines which include special deals, either offered independently by local businesses, or through a partnership between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach area magazine and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.
Selecting the perfect rental home in Myrtle Beach:
- Start by choosing your vacation dates and a maximum budget.
- Determine how many bedrooms and the configuration your family requires. Modern Chic KING w\/Breathtaking Sunrise Views! has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rental home search.
- Specific information about bedrooms and bed counts & types is generally available on booking websites. If not, email the property management company before you reserve the vacation property. Remember that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which often includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You will need to establish which bed configuration is right for your group.
- Are you visiting for a specific attraction or event? Try a map search to locate nearby rentals.
- Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for those with limited mobility. Confirm all necessary amenities are available before reserving a rental.
- If your group is bringing pets, search for a pet-friendly rental. Ask for information on breed, size, and type requirements. Be aware that some hosts require additional pet deposits and fees.
Tips to have a terrific stay:
- Add the host's contact information to your smartphone. Take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
- During check-in, record any damages to the rental property and immediately alert the property manager. Record all correspondence in case a dispute arises.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a hot tub, stereo or washer/dryer. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief call prevents many issues.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like loud vacationers bothering your quiet neighborhood. Use the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great beaches and places you would have not otherwise known about!
- Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to charter a fishing boat, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
- Protect the property owner (and your stuff!) by locking and securing the home while you are out, just like you would at home.
- At departure, take a walk-through to make sure you didn't leave anything behind. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Please make sure to walk through the rental a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can. If the property manager isn't available, ensure that you take video and pictures of the property to record its condition at check-out.
- After your trip, leave feedback! Property managers rely on good feedback to stimulate more reservations. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationing families will will be grateful for your feedback find their best vacation rental. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to solve it.
