Prior guest, Jametra, July 2023, "This place was definitely BEAUTIFUL. I appreciate that there are balconies on both sides of the apartment so you can appreciate the sunset and the sunrise. The balcony that faces the beach is cavernous and we adored eating our meals out there. We were steps away from the beach, which is an absolute must for us."
"We really appreciated our stay. Great location, very clean, everything was just as described. We really enjoyed being able to see both the sun rise and set. Loved sitting out and looking at the ocean. The kitchen is very well outfitted and made it simple to prepare meals. It was phenomenal to have beach chairs and umbrella to use. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay." Jamie, July 2022

Rental property booking tips:
When to book & When to go:
- In the Myrtle Beach area, The sooner you can book a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental homes are reserved very early. Reserving your vacation home up to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and book your rental.
- Summer is high season in the Myrtle Beach area. To find the best rental for your budget, we strongly suggest reserving in Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at local restaurants, tours, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the high season.
- Some owners offer special rates for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if special offers are available for your family before you book.
- Booking websites typically offer their guests an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed days as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for specifics.
- Look for your local Myrtle Beach visitors guide magazine when you check-in. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, visitor guide magazines contain discounts for local shops and restaurants.
Use filters to search efficiently:
- Select a designated group leader, select your vacation dates, and choose a maximum budget.
- Note the number beds and the configuration your family needs. WELCOME TO YOUR OCEAN OASIS - A VACATION TO REMEMBER! has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
- Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed types is usually available on booking websites. Otherwise, email the host before you book your home. Note that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds and bunks.
- Some rental properties allow pets, and some do not. Acceptable types of family pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and added fees may apply. Ask the host about allowable breeds and types before booking.
- Visiting for a specific attraction? If so, use a map search to find nearby rentals.
- Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Remember to confirm all necessary amenities are available before booking
More considerations:
- Store the manager's contact information in your smartphone.
- Hosts are there to help! Feel free to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
- Lock your rental while you're out and about. Protect the owner's property and your stuff!
- To make certain damages are not linked to your stay, make note of any problem areas during arrival. message the rental manager right away to document any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having the recorded problems and contact attempts will be valuable.
- Be a good neighbor. Frequently, nearby homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking regulations is the right thing to do.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Local residents can frequently point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
- Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, take a walk through the property to confirm you've collected all of your things. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Please make sure to walk through the property one final time and look for any damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host isn't available, ensure that you take photos of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
- Did your group have a terrific stay? Many rental management companies make it easy for vacationers to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or property management company was wonderful, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was out of order and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
