Prior guest, Jametra, July 2023, "This place was definitely BEAUTIFUL. I appreciate that there are balconies on both sides of the apartment so you can appreciate the sunset and the sunrise. The balcony that faces the beach is roomy and we adored eating our meals out there. We were steps away from the beach, which is an absolute must for us."

"We really appreciated our stay. Great location, very clean, everything was just as described. We really enjoyed being able to see both the sun rise and set. Loved sitting out and looking at the ocean. The kitchen is very well outfitted and made it simple to prepare meals. It was outstanding to have beach chairs and umbrella to use. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay." Jamie, July 2022

Our top Myrtle Beach rental home booking tips:

Sticking to a rental budget:

  • Summer months are high season in Myrtle Beach. To find the best value, consider changing your family's Myrtle Beach vacation week to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and even October offer warmer temperatures, less crowded beaches, and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during June, July, and August.
  • In the Myrtle Beach area, The earlier your group can book a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental homes are booked very early. Reserving your vacation property up to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation rental.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host if your group qualifies for a discount.
  • Booking websites typically offer guests an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for specifics.
  • Often, management companies supply Myrtle Beach area visitor guides which often include coupons, either offered independently by local businesses, or by way of a partnership between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

Choosing and booking the bestrental:

  • Select your dates and budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and the configuration your group requires. WELCOME TO YOUR OCEAN OASIS - A VACATION TO REMEMBER! has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rental home search.
  • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts & types is usually accessible on booking websites. Otherwise, reach out to the property management company before you book your rental. Remember that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds in living rooms. You will need to work out what is suitable for your vacation group.
  • If there's a particular Myrtle Beach destination you are crazy about, browse properties that are either close by, or those that cater to your requirements.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. Confirm all necessary amenities are available before reserving a rental
  • If your family is vacationing with pets, you must reserve a rental that allows animals. Get details on breed, size, and type requirements. Some hosts charge pet deposits and fees.

More considerations for your visit:

  • Get the property manager's phone number and entry/exit procedures for your rental property.
  • To ensure that damages are not attributed to your visit, make a record of any problem areas during check in. text the host right away to record your findings. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having the recorded issues and contact attempts will be useful.
  • Hosts are great sources of help! Don't be shy to ask any questions during your stay.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay more pleasurable. You will enhance your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors can be a fantastic source for finding the best local beaches.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can frequently point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Ensure you protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by locking and securing the home while you are gone, just like you would back home.
  • Just prior to departing, take a walk-through to make sure you didn't leave anything behind. Make sure to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the rental a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the property manager isn't available, ensure that you take photographs of the property to record its condition.
  • Did your family have a terrific stay? Most rental management companies make it easy for guests to provide feedback. If your property and/or property manager was wonderful, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was out of order and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
