Tricks and tips to get the best Myrtle Beach vacation home experience:
Sticking to your spending budget:
- To find the best value, try shifting your family's Myrtle Beach vacation dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and October offer warmer temperatures, fewer crowds, and greatly reduced traffic.
- Reserve your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families book their Summer vacations during holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host if your vacationing group qualifies for a discount.
- Management companies and individual rental owners often offer customers an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed days as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for additional information.
- Find a copy of your local Myrtle Beach visitors guide upon arrival. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local information, visitor guides have coupons for nearby accommodations, restaurants and tours.
Make a plan and pick yourvacation home:
- Choose vacation dates and max budget.
- Determine how many bedrooms and the configuration your group requires. Dazzling Elegance: Oceanfront King Ste 15th Flr has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
- Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed types is commonly available on booking websites. Otherwise, email the property manager before you book your home. Remember that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds. You will need to determine what configuration is suitable for your trip.
- If there's a particular Myrtle Beach beach you simply love, browse homes that are either close by, or those that cater to your requirements.
- Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for guests with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are included before reserving a rental
- If your family is traveling with pets, you will need a rental that allows animals. Make sure to ask for details on breed, weight, and type requirements. Note that some hosts require additional pet deposits and fees.
More tips for your stay:
- Review check in & check out procedures before traveling. Add a note with the directions to your phone, and take a printed backup.
- To make certain damages are not linked to your stay, inspect for any problem areas when you arrive. text the rental manager immediately to relay any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute, having a record of issues and contact attempts will be useful.
- Property managers are available to help! Don't be shy to ask questions during your stay.
- Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will magnify your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are often an incredible source for finding the best local scenic spots.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Residents can usually help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to order delicious takeout, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
- Ensure you protect the owner (and your things!) by keeping the rental locked up when you are gone, just like you would at home.
- Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the property to make sure you've collected all personal items. Remember to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Record a video to document the condition of the property.
- Leave feedback! Property managers rely on good ratings to inspire new reservations. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other vacationers will be thankful you shared your review and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to solve it.
