Tips to get the very best rental experience:
When to book a Myrtle Beach rental & When to go:
- Reserve your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often open twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups book their Summer vacations during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- To find the best rental home within your budget, we suggest reserving in Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at your favorite restaurants and activities.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner whether your group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
- Property managers usually offer guests an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally will cost you between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for days missed as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for specifics.
- Many rental management companies supply Myrtle Beach area visitor guide magazines that include coupons, either offered independently by local businesses, or through a partnership between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.
Planning, selecting, and booking the perfectvacation home:
- Select dates and maximum budget.
- Determine how many bedrooms and the bed configuration you need. Feel @ Home in Casita Cruz, Pool, 2miles beach, Laundry, King Bed & Free Parking has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
- Specific information about bedrooms and bed counts is almost always accessible on booking pages. If not, reach out to the property owner before you reserve your rental. Note that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which typically includes pull-out couches. You'll need to work out what configuration is suitable for your trip.
- Some properties allow pets, and some don't. Acceptable types of family pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and added fees may apply. Ask the property management company about allowable breeds and types before booking.
- Is your family looking for special amenities? Most rental search websites include amenity lists and search filters. Use these filters to your advantage to find the perfect rental home.
- Suitable accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. Make certain to inquire about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.
Know before you go:
- We recommend storing the owner's information in your smartphone and wallet.
- Property managers are there to help! Feel free to ask questions during your stay.
- Ensure you protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by keeping the rental locked up while you are gone, just like you would back home.
- Make a record of any damages to the rental upon arrival, and immediately e-mail them to the property manager. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be very helpful if a dispute is filed.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like loud vacationers disrupting your peaceful home life. Use the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great local food and scenic spots you would have not otherwise known!
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Local residents can typically help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to order delicious takeout, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
- Re-check every room of the property to make sure that you've packed all belongings at check-out. Make sure to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Please make sure to walk through the rental a final time and scan for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever you can. If the host isn't available, remember to take pictures of the rental to record its condition.
- Leave a review! Property managers rely on excellent feedback to stimulate more bookings. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationers will will be grateful for your feedback find their best rental home. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to fix it.
