Getting the best Myrtle Beach rental experience:
Money saving strategies:
- Summertime is high season in the Myrtle Beach area. To get the largest rental for your budget, we recommend booking in Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at Myrtle Beach restaurants, tours, and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
- Reserve your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules often become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer vacations during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- Some hosts offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Make sure to check with your property manager to see if rate reductions are available for your group.
- Property management companies frequently offer renters an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for specifics.
- Find a copy of your local visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, visitors guides have money saving offers on local accommodations, restaurants and tours.
Choosing the best vacation rental in Myrtle Beach:
- Choose a designated group leader, choose your dates, and select a budget.
- Decide how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration your group requires. Oceanfront Charming _Great View _Family Friendly Building has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
- Specific information about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is normally available on booking pages. If not, call the host before you reserve your home. Note that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds.
- Are you looking for special amenities? Most rental websites include search filters with amenity lists. Filtering by amenity will allow you to quickly find your ideal rental home.
- Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for the less-mobile. .
- Are you traveling with furry, four-legged family members? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Remember to ask your host before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Extra fees or charges might be applied to your invoice.
Know before you go:
- Take a copy of the owner's contact number and check in/check out procedures for your rental home. Put the host's information in your smartphone and wallet.
- During check-in, make note of any damages to the rental property and immediately contact the owner. Keep records of all correspondence just in case a dispute arises.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, television set or kitchen appliance. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief call can prevent a lot of concerns.
- Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will magnify your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are usually a great source for finding the best local spots.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Neighbors can often help. Who better to ask where to spend a rainy day, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
- Lock your rental while you are away. Keep your property safe!
- Re-check the vacation property to confirm that you've packed all of your family's items at check-out. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Please make sure to walk through the property a final time and look for damages to contents or the property itself. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the property manager isn't available, take photos of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
- After your trip, leave feedback! Property managers rely on excellent feedback to stimulate more bookings. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationing families will be thankful you shared your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to fix it.
