Getting the best Myrtle Beach rental home experience:
Getting the best rental value:
- Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules often open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacations during holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- Summer time is high season in the Myrtle Beach area. To find the best value, shift your vacation dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and even October offer great temperatures, fewer crowds, and greatly reduced traffic.
- Some hosts offer discounts for veterans. Ask your property manager if special offers are available for your family.
- Property management companies frequently offer guests an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally costs between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for more information.
- Many property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Myrtle Beach area visitor guide magazines which often include special offers, either offered directly by local businesses, or through a partnership between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.
Choosing the perfect vacation home:
- First and foremost, have your family select date ranges and a maximum budget.
- Determine how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your family needs. Sandy Toes Oceanfront Cabana Room 1st Floor has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
- Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is commonly accessible online. If you don't see them listed, email the property management company before you book your rental. Remember that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which often includes pull out couches in living rooms. You will need to establish what bed configuration is right for your vacation family.
- If your family is traveling with pets, you'll need to find a pet-friendly rental. Get details on breed, size, and type requirements. Often, property managers require additional pet deposits and fees.
- Does your group require particular amenities? Most rental websites include amenity lists and search filters. Amenity filters help you quickly remove less-optimal properties.
- Suitable accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for guests with disabilities. .
Advice for a terrific stay:
- Add the host's contact information to your smartphone. Take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
- Property managers are there to help! Don't be shy to ask any questions during your stay.
- Lock your vacation home while you're away. Protect the owner's property and your stuff!
- To ensure that no damages are attributed to your stay, make note of any problem areas upon check in. Make contact with the host immediately to report any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having the recorded issues and contact attempts will be useful.
- Be respectful of your neighbors. Frequently, adjacent homes are occupied by permanent residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can often help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to book the best tours, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
- Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, take a walk through the rental to make sure you've collected everything. Re-check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Record a video to document the condition of the property.
- Did your group have a fantastic stay? Many rental websites make it easy for customers to provide comments. If your rental and/or host was fantastic, they would love to hear it. If anything was amiss and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
