As of April 2024, this condo has been completely remodeled, featuring some really impressive refreshed. We could not be more excited to share them with you! For starters, in the main living space a new king size bed was installed as well as a brand-new couch that converts to a sleeper couch! A new 65 inch, flatscreen TV was also mounted in the living space as well. In the closet shelving was installed to allow guests more space to store things.
The owner really spared no expense, out with the old and in with the new. In the bathroom the tub was removed, and, in its place, a new walk-in shower was installed that was elegantly tiled. New granite counter tops were also installed along with a new, vanity, enormous LED mirror that turns on by waving your hand in front of it, and higher seated toilet. In the kitchen all new cabinets were installed along with a new tile backsplash, and granite counter tops. The appliances were also updated with a new convection oven and refrigerator. Guests will appreciate the floating shelves that were freshly installed above the oven. Lastly in between the kitchen and main living space is a bespoke constructed in counter area with stools for guests to sit and appreciate meals!
While the Sea Mist is a 65-year-old complex, we have gone above and beyond to ensure that this unit is FAR from the average booking experience at a hotel. Past guests really adore the space, and we enjoy the fact that they treat it as if it were their own.
Be sure to pack light! All towels, toiletries, linens, and linens are supplied. We also provide starter amenities such as toilet paper, paper towels, soap, shampoo, lotion, and conditioner for each reservation. We also provide 8 towels and 8 washcloths per bathroom. We really want to make your experience with us as economical as possible! Unlike many properties managed by other companies and homeowners, we can accommodate daily housekeeping and mid-stay cleaning requests for a modest fee.
While we do our absolute best to ensure that all our condos are cleaned, prepared, and comfortable for all of our guests, we do want to note that this resort is over 60 years old. Tips and Tricks for getting the perfect Myrtle Beach vacation rental experience:
When to reserve a Myrtle Beach rental & When to go:
- In the Myrtle Beach area, The sooner your group can reserve a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable rental properties are reserved early. Booking your vacation property up to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and book your rental property.
- June, July, and August are high season in Myrtle Beach. To get the largest rental within your budget, we suggest reserving in the Spring or Fall. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at Myrtle Beach restaurants, tours, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer months.
- Some hosts and property managers offer discounts for veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your group.
- Booking websites often offer customers an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
- Look for your local Myrtle Beach visitors guide magazine upon arrival. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local stories, visitor guide magazines contain coupons for local accommodations, tours and attractions.

- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Neighbors can typically help. Who better to ask where to charter a fishing boat, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
- At departure, complete a final walk-through to make sure you didn't forget any personal items. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
