Booking the best Myrtle Beach vacation home experience:

Get the most from your spending budget:

  • Summer months are high season in Myrtle Beach. Booking in the Fall or Spring is a good way to save on your vacation. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of suitable properties.
  • Book your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules generally become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families reserve their Summer rentals during Christmas and Thanksgiving get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Owners sometimes offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Ask your property manager if rate reductions are available for your family before you book.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer renters an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for more information.
  • Often, property management companies supply Myrtle Beach area visitors guide magazines which include money-saving offers, either offered independently by local businesses, or by way of a relationship between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Make a plan and pick a perfect Myrtle Beach rental home:

  • Choose a designated group leader, select your trip dates, and choose a budget.
  • Decide how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration your group requires. Seaside Tranquility Suite with View 7th Floor has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed counts & types is often available online. Otherwise, reach out to the property owner before you reserve the rental. Remember that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds and bunks. You'll need to determine what bed configuration is best for your group.
  • If there's a certain Myrtle Beach attraction you are crazy about, search for properties that are either close by, or those that cater especially to your requirements.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for guests with disabilities. .
  • Are you bringing the family pet? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Ask your property manager before booking, and study your rental agreement! Additional pet fees or applied to your agreement.

Have a fantastic stay:

  • Put the owner's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • To ensure that damages are not attributed to your stay, inspect for any problem areas upon your arrival. message the host right away to relay your findings. If there is a dispute, having the recorded problems and contact attempts will be very helpful.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a hot tub, stereo or appliance. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief text message can prevent a lot of difficulties.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will enhance your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are usually a fantastic source for finding the best local beaches.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can often help. Who better to ask where to get the best breakfast in town, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Lock your vacation home while you're away. Keep your property safe!
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, take a walk through the rental property to reconfirm you've collected all personal items. Check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the rental a final time and look for damages to contents or the property itself. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the property manager isn't available, ensure that you take photos and video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did you have a wonderful time? Many rental management companies make it easy for guests to provide reviews. If your property and/or property management company was wonderful, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was wrong and they failed to correct it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
