The search for your next vacation stops here! Check out the updates in this 2-bedroom penthouse apartment at The Palace Resort in Myrtle Beach. This 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo is completely furnished with 1 king-size bed, 1 queen-size bed in the master bedroom, and the most comfortable living room furnishings! The layout of this rental will comfortably accommodate 4 guests.

This property has been partially refreshed as of February 2024. This 2-bedroom suite features some fantastic upgrades that include: replacing the interior doors, new master queen size bed and nightstand, brand new furnishings, decor, wine glasses and so much more.

This unique layout offers ample living space for our guests. Other units at the resort are much smaller, but this layout features an open floor plan and doesn't feel cramped! The guest bedroom is the first bedroom on the left and features 1 king-size bed and access to a private balcony with countless vistas of the Myrtle Beach skyline. This is a ideal place to catch vistas of some beautiful sunsets. The master bedroom offers 1 queen bed and access to a full bathroom. So many of our guests have commented on the comfort that each of the beds provides. This bedroom also includes access to a private balcony! The guest bath is located just off from the guest bedroom.

The kitchen is definitely marvelous and features full-size, matching appliances, cavernous cabinets, and granite countertops. The homeowners spared no expense! We provide all basic cookware, silverware, dishes and silver, glassware, and everything you will need to prepare a full meal for the family. Unlike many units, this listing also features a full-size dishwasher as well as modest appliances like a coffee maker and toaster.

The living room is really the most calming area of the entire apartment. Our guests will appreciate a couch and accent chairs, flat-screen TV, and charming vistas of the Atlantic Ocean. This apartment was elegantly decorated, and the fresh paint and modern decor are great touches that really make this rental one-of-a-kind!

******* Please note that affective from now 10/02 through further notice the modest indoor spa is closed for renovations, but the pools are open! *********

Tips to get the best Myrtle Beach vacation property experience:

Find your perfect rental home:

  • Summertime is high season in the Myrtle Beach area. To get the best value, try changing your vacation dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and October offer warm weather, fewer crowds, and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer months.
  • Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally become available a year in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacation rentals during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer special rates for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if special offers are available for your family.
  • Booking websites usually offer customers an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for details.
  • Find a copy of your local visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, visitor guide magazines have deals for nearby accommodations, restaurants and tours.

Use filters to search efficiently:

  • Choose a designated group leader, choose your vacation week, and select a maximum budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and the bed configuration your family requires. The Palace- 2314 - ocean view 2 bedroom\/2 bath has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Myrtle Beach rentals search.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts & types is often accessible online. If they are not listed, contact the property owner before you book the rental. Note that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds in living rooms.
  • Are you looking for unique amenities? Most websites include amenity lists and search filters. Use these to your advantage to find the perfect rental home.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. .
  • Are you bringing the family pet? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Ask your host before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Pet fees or charges may be applied to your contract.

Considerations for your stay:

  • Get the host's phone number and check in/check out procedures for your rental home. Store the manager's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • To ensure that no damages are attributed to your family's visit, record any problem areas upon check in. Speak to the property manager immediately to report any issues. If there is a dispute, having the recorded issues and contact attempts will be very helpful.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, elevator or washer/dryer. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief telephone call prevents quite a few issues.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. You'll increase your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are an excellent source for finding the best local restaurants, beaches, and hangouts.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can usually help. Who better to ask where to charter a fishing boat, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Protect the owner (and your things!) by locking the property while you are out, just like you would back home.
  • Re-check the rental property to make sure that you've packed all belongings on check-out day. Re-check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did your family have a excellent stay? Many rental managers make it easy for guests to provide feedback. If your rental and/or property management company was fantastic, they would love to hear it. If anything was wrong and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
