Getting Around:
Getting around in Surfside Beach is relatively painless by either car or golf cart. Most of the other condos in this community don't have a full 2 car garage and thus can't really fit a gas powered golf cart in their garages, but this one will. Other Things to Note:
We will provide starter paper supplies along with linens and hand and bath towels and wash cloths with the cleaning fee. How to get the best Myrtle Beach rental home experience:
When to visit & When to book:
- Summertime is high season in the Myrtle Beach area. Reserving a rental home in the Spring or Fall is our favorite way to save money on your rental home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of acceptable properties. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
- In the Myrtle Beach area, The sooner your group can reserve a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The best rental homes are booked very early. Booking your rental six to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation home.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a special rate.
- Booking websites frequently offer customers an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for details.
- Find a copy of your local Myrtle Beach area magazine upon checking in. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, travel guide magazines have offers and deals for nearby accommodations, restaurants and tours.
Make a plan and pick your prefect Myrtle Beach rental home:
- Begin by choosing your a vacation week and a budget.
- Determine how many beds and the bed configuration your family requires. Steps 2 Ocean Garage Incredible View (By Beach Star) has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
- Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts & types is normally accessible on booking pages. If not, reach out to the property management company before you book the vacation home. Remember that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds. You'll need to establish what configuration is optimal for your vacation.
- If there's a specific Myrtle Beach destination you are enamored with, search for homes that are either near by, or those that cater to your needs.
- Proper accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. Make certain to inquire about wheel chair accessibility, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
- Remember to include your furry companions! Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Remember to ask your host before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Extra fees or may be applied to your contract.
Some things to know before you go:
- Add the host's contact information to your smartphone. Take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
- Make a record of any issues with the rental during check in, and immediately send them to the host. We especially recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that are valuable if a dispute is filed.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, television set or coffee maker. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief telephone call prevents a lot of issues.
- Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will enhance your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors can be a great resource to find the best local beaches and restaurants.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
- Lock your rental home while you are away. Keep your property safe!
- Double-check the property to confirm that you've packed all of your belongings on check-out day. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- Did your group have a great time? Most rental management companies make it easy for clients to provide feedback. If your rental and/or property management company was fantastic, they would love to hear about it. If anything was amiss and they failed to address it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
