Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental property.
- Summer time is high season in the Myrtle Beach area. To get the best value, shift your family's Myrtle Beach vacation to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and October offer excellent weather, , and reduced traffic.
- Property management companies sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans. Remember to ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your group.
- Booking websites usually offer guests an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for program terms and fees.
- Look for your local Myrtle Beach visitors guide upon arrival. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, visitors guides have deals for nearby attractions, tours, restaurants, and shops.
