As of Fall 2021, we have made a few updates to the property! The living room carpet has been removed and new laminate floor has been installed. Finding the best Myrtle Beach vacation home experience:
How to get the best rental value:
- The earlier you can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The best vacation homes are booked early. Booking your rental home up to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental home.
- Book your Myrtle Beach vacation in Fall or Spring to enjoy gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host if your group qualifies for a discount.
- Booking websites frequently offer customers an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
- Find a copy of your local Myrtle Beach area magazine upon checking in. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local articles, travel guides contain coupons for nearby accommodations, tours and attractions.
Use filters to narrow your rental search:
- Select your vacation dates and max budget.
- Note the number beds and the bed configuration your family requires. 2 Bed 2 Bath Ground Level Golf Colony at Plantation 33I Only 2 Miles To The Beach has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rental home search.
- Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed counts & types is commonly accessible online. If you don't see them listed, reach out to the property management company before booking the rental. Note that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds. You will need to establish what is best for your vacation family.
- If your family is vacationing with pets, you'll need to book a property that allows animals. Make sure to ask for details on breed, size, and type requirements. Often, hosts require additional pet deposits and fees.
- If there's a certain Myrtle Beach destination you simply love, browse rentals that are either near by, or those that cater to your desires.
- Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. Make certain to inquire about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.
Tips for your stay:
- Review arrival and departure procedures before traveling. Take a printed copy, and add a note with the directions to your smartphone.
- Hosts are available to help! Don't be shy to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
- Lock your vacation home while you are away. Keep your property safe!
- To ensure that no damages are attributed to your visit, note any problem areas when you arrive. E-mail the rental manager immediately to relay any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having a record of problems and contact attempts will be valuable.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like unpleasant visitors disrupting your peaceful home life. Use the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great restaurants and attractions you would've not otherwise known about!
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can typically help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to spend a rainy day, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
- Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, take a walk through the rental to confirm you've collected all personal items. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- Did you have a fantastic stay? Many rental managers make it easy for guests to provide feedback. If your rental and/or host was terrific, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was out of order and they failed to correct it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
