Onsite services include FURology Paw Spa & Retreat offering dog-sitting and grooming services. We also have a great pool area and sundeck for guests to savor. Each property is equipped with one or more rental boxes. Our guests appreciate complimentary blockbuster units during their stay.
Free Attraction Ticket Program - All Oceana Resorts guests are supplied with a package of tickets from local partners. Tips to get the optimal Myrtle Beach vacation home experience:
When to visit & When to reserve a Myrtle Beach rental home:
- The sooner you can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The best rental properties are booked very early. Reserving your vacation home 6-12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation rental.
- June, July, and August are high season in the Myrtle Beach area. Reserve your Myrtle Beach vacation home in Spring or Fall to get the benefit of warm weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities.
- Hosts sometimes offer promotional rates for veterans. Ask your property manager if discounts are available for your group.
- Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer renters an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for more information.
- Look for your local Myrtle Beach visitors guide magazine when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, visitors guide magazines contain discounts for nearby attractions, tours, restaurants, and shops.
Narrow your rental Search:
- Choose your dates and maximum budget.
- Determine how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration your group requires. 8th Floor Oceanfront Snowbird Friendly Studio w\/ Shared Pool\/Hot Tub, AC, WiFi has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rentals search.
- Specific information about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is often available on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, contact the property owner before reserving the property. Remember that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which oftentimes includes pull-out couches. You will need to work out which bed configuration is optimal for your group.
- If your group is traveling with pets, you'll need to book a pet-friendly property. Ask for details on breed, size, and type restrictions. Note that some property owners charge additional pet fees.
- Are you visiting for a specific attraction or event? Try a map search to browse nearby properties.
- Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for guests with disabilities. Make certain to ask about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.
During your stay:
- Be sure you get the owner's contact number and check in/check out procedures for your rental home.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, stereo or washer/dryer. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief text message prevents many concerns.
- Protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by locking the property when you are gone, just like you would back home.
- Document any issues with the property during check in, and immediately send them to the property manager. We specifically recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain time stamps that are useful if damages are attributed to your stay.
- Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay more pleasurable. You will increase your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are often an excellent resource to find the best local restaurants, beaches, and hangouts.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Residents can typically help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to find the best bike paths, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
- On check-out day, take a final walk-through to confirm you did not forget anything. Re-check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Inspect the property a final time and look for damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the host whenever you can. If the host is not available, take video of the rental to record its condition.
- Did your family have a great vacation? Most rental managers make it easy for clients to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or host was fantastic, they would love to hear it. If anything was out of order and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
