How to select the best vacation home in the Myrtle Beach area:
- Select a group lead, choose your vacation week, and select a maximum budget.
- Decide how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration your group needs. Anderson Old Club - Hilton Grand Vacation has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
- Precise information about bedrooms and bed counts & types is often available on booking websites. If they are not listed, contact the property manager before reserving the property. Note that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which usually includes pull-out couches.
- If your group is vacationing with pets, you'll need to search for a pet-friendly vacation rental. Ask for specifics on breed, size, and type restrictions. Some hosts require additional pet deposits and fees.
- If there's an individual Myrtle Beach destination you are crazy about, browse rentals that are either near by, or those that cater especially to your desires.
- Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. Confirm all required amenities are available and included before reserving a rental.
Tips for your stay:
- Put the host's information in your smartphone.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, intercom or kitchen appliance. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief telephone call prevents a lot of issues.
- Protect the owner (and your things!) by locking the property when you are away, just like you would back home.
- To ensure that damages aren't linked to your stay, record any problem areas upon your arrival. Make contact with the rental manager immediately to document any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be helpful.
- Don't forget to respect your neighbors. Often times, surrounding homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking policies is the right thing to do.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Local residents can typically help. Who better to ask where to get the best breakfast in town, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
- Upon check-out, take a walk-through to confirm you haven't forget any personal items. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Inspect the property a final time and look for damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the property manager whenever possible. If the property manager isn't available, ensure that you take video and pictures of the property to record its condition.
- Did your group have a excellent vacation? Many rental managers make it easy for customers to provide comments. If your rental property and/or property manager was terrific, they would love to hear about it. If anything was inoperable and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
