Appreciate the added comfort of a private closet, natural light streaming in from a window, and a flat-screen TV mounted on the wall for your convenience.
Just down the hall, you'll discover the bathroom, also to the right. The layout is cleverly designed to provide a spa-like ambiance, offering additional privacy by separating the toilet and shower/tub combo behind a second door. When you first enter, you'll be greeted by a roomy vanity with two sinks, making getting ready a breeze—especially with the sizable mirror! The ample storage space in the drawers and cabinets ensures you'll have plenty of room to store all your essentials. No need to overpack! For those who prefer dining out, the Meridian Resort is conveniently located just a short walk or drive from many of Myrtle Beach's best eateries. Plus, food delivery services like Uber Eats and DoorDash are a trendy choice.
The open layout between the kitchen and living area makes it painless for everybody to gather and relax. How to find the best Myrtle Beach rental home experience:
Finding the best rental home value:
- The earlier you can book a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental properties are reserved early. Booking your rental property up to 12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental home.
- June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal SC. Reserving a rental home in Fall or Spring is our favorite way to save money on your vacation home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of suitable homes. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
- Some property managers offer special rates for active duty military and veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your group before you book.
- Property managers often offer customers an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for additional information.
- Many property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Myrtle Beach area visitor guide magazines which will include money-saving offers, either offered directly by local businesses, or through a partnership between the management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.
Choosing the best vacation rental in Myrtle Beach:
- Select a group lead, choose your vacation week, and select a spending budget.
- Note the number bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your group needs. Breath-taking Renovated 1 Bedroom at Merdian! Unit 406 has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
- Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is usually available online. If not, contact the property owner before reserving the home. Note that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds and bunks.
- Some rentals allow pets, and others do not. Acceptable types of family pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and additional fees may apply. Ask the host about pets before booking.
- If there's an individual Myrtle Beach attraction you simply love, look for rentals that are either close by, or those that cater especially to your needs.
- Appropriate accessibility can make or break a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. .
Have a great stay:
- Review check in & check out procedures before leaving home. Take a printed copy, and save the instructions to your smartphone.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, television set or thermostat. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief phone call prevents many concerns.
- Protect the owner (and your stuff!) by locking and securing the home when you are away, just like you would at home.
- To make certain damages aren't linked to your family's visit, make a record of any problem areas when you arrive. E-mail the host right away to record any issues. If there is a dispute, having a record of problems and contact attempts will be useful.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like obnoxious visitors disrupting your peaceful home. Apply the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great local food and scenic spots you would've never otherwise known about!
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Residents can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to find the best bike paths, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
- On check-out day, take a final walk-through to make sure you have not forget any personal items. Check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Record a video to document the condition of the property.
- Did your family have a wonderful stay? Many rental managers make it easy for vacationers to provide reviews. If your property and/or property manager was great, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was out of order and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
