Guests will be able to access the private, oceanfront balcony from this room. The private balcony is ideal, and guests will appreciate charming oceanfront vistas of the Atlantic Ocean! Many guests have sent photos of some colorful sunsets and sunrises over the water. Appreciate breakfast on the balcony! Although this is considered a 1-bedroom condo, the space offers 2 separate rooms with 2 separate beds!

Tricks and tips to get the perfect vacation property experience:
Get the most from your budget:
- Summer is high season in Myrtle Beach. Booking a rental in the Spring or Fall is our best tip for saving money on your vacation rental. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of suitable properties. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
- Book your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules usually open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacations during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- Some owners offer discounts for veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if discounts are available for your group before you book.
- Property managers often offer their guests an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for days missed as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for additional information.
- Find a copy of your local Myrtle Beach area magazine upon arrival. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great information, visitors guide magazines contain coupons for local tours and attractions.
Choosing the best rental home in the Myrtle Beach area:
- Choose a designated group leader, select your vacation week, and select a maximum budget.
- Determine how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your group needs. Direct Oceanfront 1 Bedroom Suite! Schooner At Compass Cove 335- Sleeps 4! has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rental home search.
- Precise information about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is almost always available on booking pages. If not, call the property manager before booking the vacation property. Remember that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds in living rooms. You will need to work out which bed configuration is suitable for your vacation.
- Are you looking for special amenities? Most rental search websites include search filters with amenity lists.
- Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Confirm all required amenities are available and included before booking
- Are you bringing the family pet? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Remember to ask your host before booking, and study your agreement! Extra fees or costs could be applied to your contract.
Advice for a great stay:
- Review arrival and departure procedures before leaving home. Take a printed copy, and add a note with the instructions to your phone.
- To ensure that no damages are attributed to your family's visit, inspect for any problem areas during arrival. Contact the property manager right away to record any issues. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having a record of problems and contact attempts will be useful.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, A/V setup or WIFI setup. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief text message can prevent quite a few problems.
- Be respectful of your neighbors. Frequently, adjacent homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking regulations is the right thing to do.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Neighbors can typically help. Who better to ask where to find the best bike paths, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
- Lock your rental home while you're out. Keep your property safe!
- Double-check every room of the vacation property to confirm that you've packed everything at departure. Make sure to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Record a video to document the condition of the property.
- Leave feedback! Property managers rely on excellent ratings to inspire more reservations. They'll be thankful for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationers will will be grateful for your feedback find their best vacation rental. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to solve it.
