OCEAN TERRACE
Our townhouse is one of seven in a QUIET, single building property in what many locals call the best area of Myrtle Beach. 76th Avenue ends at the Atlantic just beyond our building. The sand is wide and inviting for your ideal beach vacation. All luxuries and necessities are walking distance or a very short drive away.
You will appreciate not having to wait on an elevator and having dedicated parking spaces. The parking space directly in front of the door is really handy for loading and unloading. No circling a parking deck or parking lot waiting on a space!
Guests choose Ocean Terrace because of the cavernous, well-constructed quality of the unit and its location in the most sought-after section of Myrtle beach. Upstairs bedrooms with split floorplan for privacy. Master bedroom has a new king bed and the second bedroom hosts a new queen bed. Both have pillow-top beds. Sleeper couch on the first floor. The master bedroom also has a nice chair that folds out to become a single bed which is really nice for a kid. A sizable and private back deck can host your morning coffee, afternoon sunbathing session, dinner at dusk, or a moonlight evening . The unit offers a huge, full kitchen with dishwasher, and there is a washer/dryer on the second floor.

Tricks and tips for getting the best Myrtle Beach rental home experience:
Sticking to a spending budget:
- Reserve your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often open a year in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups book their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- Summer months are high season in Myrtle Beach. Booking a rental in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons is one of our best tips for saving money on your vacation rental. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of desirable homes. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction.
- Management companies and individual rental owners frequently offer renters an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for details.
- Look for your local visitors guide when you check-in. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, visitor guides have coupons for nearby accommodations, restaurants and tours.

- Precise information about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is almost always accessible on booking pages. If not, contact the property manager before you book your home. Remember that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds in living rooms. You'll need to establish what is best for your family.
- Some rentals allow pets, but some do not. Allowable types of dog or cat, weight and breeds may be restricted, and added fees may apply. Ask your host about allowable breeds and types before booking.
- Looking for particular amenities? Most websites include search filters with amenity lists. Amenity filters help you quickly remove less-optimal properties.
- Suitable accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for those with limited mobility. Remember to confirm all necessary amenities are included before booking
Know before you go:
- Add the host's contact information to your smartphone. Print and take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
- Property managers are available to help! Feel free to ask any questions during your stay.
- Lock your rental while you are away. Keep your property safe!
- To ensure that damages are not linked to your visit, make a record of any problem areas during arrival. Call the rental manager immediately to relay any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having the recorded issues and contact attempts will be very helpful.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disagreeable visitors disrupting your home life. Apply the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great beaches and scenic spots you would have not otherwise known!
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Locals can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to find the best bike paths, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
- Double-check the vacation property to make sure that you've packed all personal items at departure. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Go through the property a final time and scan for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager isn't available, remember to take photos of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
- Leave feedback! Property managers rely on great feedback to compel more bookings. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationers will will be grateful for your experience find their best rental home. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to fix it.
