Strategies to get the perfect Myrtle Beach vacation rental experience:
When to visit & When to book:
- The sooner you can reserve a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The best rental properties are booked early. Booking your rental property up to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and book your rental property.
- To get the most suitable vacation home for your budget, we recommend booking in Fall or Spring months. You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at your favorite restaurants and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host whether your family qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
- Property managers frequently offer their guests an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost you 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for more information.
- Many property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Myrtle Beach area visitors guides which often include special offers, either offered directly by local companies, or through a partnership between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.
How to select the perfect vacation rental:
- Select your dates and spending budget.
- Determine how many bedrooms and the configuration your family needs. Waterpark View - Kitchenette - 2 Seperate Beds has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
- Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts & types is usually accessible on booking pages. If they are not listed, email the property manager before you reserve the property. Note that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds.
- If your family is bringing pets, you must reserve a pet-friendly property. Request specifics on breed, weight, and type requirements. Usually, property owners charge pet deposits and fees.
- If there's an individual Myrtle Beach beach you simply love, search for homes that are either near by, or those that cater to your needs.
- Proper accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with a disability. Make certain to inquire about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.
More considerations for your visit:
- Add the host's phone number to your phone. Understand and take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a hot tub, television set or washer/dryer. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief telephone call prevents lots of problems.
- Protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by locking the property while you are gone, just like you would at home.
- To ensure that damages aren't attributed to your stay, inspect for any problem areas upon your arrival. Call the host immediately to relay your findings. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having the recorded problems and contact attempts will be helpful.
- Be a good neighbor. Frequently, adjacent homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Residents can often help. Who better to ask where to find the best bike paths, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
- Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, take a walk through the property to make sure you've collected everything. Make sure to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- Leave a review! Hosts rely on good ratings to stimulate new reservations. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationers will will be grateful for your feedback find their best rental home. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to solve it.
