Past guests really adore the space, and we savor the fact that they treat it as if it were their own.

Tricks and tips to get the very best Myrtle Beach vacation home experience:
When to reserve a Myrtle Beach rental & When to go:
- The sooner you can book, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are reserved very early. Reserving your rental property six to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and book your vacation home.
- Summer months are the most expensive season in Myrtle Beach. To get the best value, try shifting your vacation week to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and even October offer excellent weather, , and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer.
- Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your group.
- Property management companies usually offer renters an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for more information.
- Look for your local Myrtle Beach visitors guide when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, travel guide magazines have offers and deals for nearby tours and attractions.
Finding the perfect rental home:
- Begin by selecting vacation dates and a budget.
- Determine how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your group needs. Gorgeous Ocean Views! Ocean Front Queen Suite! Sleeps 4! Sea Mist 20901 has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
- Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed counts is generally accessible on booking websites. If not, call the property management company before you reserve the home. Note that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which frequently includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You'll need to establish what is right for your vacation family.
- If your group is bringing pets, you'll need to find a pet-friendly vacation rental. Ask for details on breed, weight, and type requirements. Some property managers charge additional pet fees.
- If there's a particular Myrtle Beach beach you simply love, look for rentals that are either nearby, or those that cater especially to your desires.
- Suitable accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Remember to confirm all necessary amenities are included before reserving a rental
Advice for a fantastic stay:
- Take a copy of the owner's contact number and entry/exit procedures for your rental property. Put the host's information in your smartphone.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, intercom or appliance. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief call can prevent quite a few difficulties.
- Protect the rental owner (and your things!) by keeping the rental locked up while you are gone, just like you would at home.
- At Check-in, make note of any damages to the property and immediately contact the property manager. Keep records of all coorespondence.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like unpleasant vacationers bothering your peaceful neighborhood. Practice the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great restaurants and scenic spots you would've not otherwise known!
- Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to find the fresh catch of the day, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
- Just before checking out, take a final walk-through to confirm you didn't forget anything. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Inspect the rental a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host isn't available, remember to take photos and video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
- Did your family have a fantastic vacation? Most vacation rental websites make it easy for clients to provide comments. If your property and/or property manager was great, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was wrong and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
