Myrtle Beach rental home booking tips:

How to get the best value:

  • Summer months are the most expensive season in coastal SC. To get the best rental for your budget, we recommend booking in Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at Myrtle Beach restaurants, beaches, and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • The sooner your group can reserve a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The best properties are reserved very early. Booking your vacation rental six - twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and book your vacation rental.
  • Some property management companies offer promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your group.
  • Booking websites often offer renters an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for additional information.
  • Look for your local Myrtle Beach area magazine upon arrival. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great articles, visitors guides have money saving offers on local restaurants, attractions, and tours.

Use filters to search efficiently:

  • Begin by selecting potential vacation weeks and a maximum budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and the bed configuration you need. Myrtle Beach Resort B308. Updated, clean, and ready to accommodate your family. has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is often accessible online. If they are not listed, call the property manager before you book your home. Note that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds.
  • If there's an individual Myrtle Beach destination you simply love, keep an eye out for homes that are either nearby, or those that cater especially to your needs.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are available and included before reserving a rental.
  • If your group is bringing pets, you'll need to search for a pet-friendly vacation rental. Ask for information on breed, size, and type restrictions. Some property owners charge additional pet fees.

Considerations for your stay:

  • Store the manager's information in your smartphone.
  • To make certain no damages are linked to your family's visit, inspect for any problem areas during check in. Get in touch with the host right away to relay any damages. If there is a dispute, having the recorded issues and contact attempts will be valuable.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, elevator or appliance. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief text message prevents many issues.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay more pleasurable. You'll enhance your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are an incredible source for finding the best local beaches.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Residents can frequently help. Who better to ask where to take kids for a treat, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Lock your vacation home while you're out. Keep your property safe!
  • Re-check every room of the vacation property to make sure that you've packed all personal items at departure. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did your family have a wonderful time? Most rental home management companies make it easy for vacationers to provide reviews. If your property and/or host was fantastic, they would love to hear about it. If anything was out of order and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
