Tricks and tips for getting the perfect rental home experience:

When to visit Myrtle Beach & When to book:

  • Reserve your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often open a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer vacations during Christmas and Thanksgiving get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • To book the largest rental for your budget, we suggest booking in Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at the beach and popular attractions.
  • Some hosts offer rate reductions for active duty military and veterans. Ask your host or property manager if rate reductions are available for your group before you book.
  • Property management companies typically offer renters an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for more information.
  • Find a copy of your local visitors guide upon arrival. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, visitor guides contain discounts for nearby shops and restaurants.

Narrow your rental Search:

  • To start, have your family commit to a vacation week and a max budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your family requires. Ocean Front Resort - Ocean Front Unit - 6\/28 thru 7\/5\/25 - Myrtle Beach, SC has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts & types is regularly accessible on booking pages. If they are not listed, email the host before booking the property. Note that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds in living rooms.
  • Some rental properties allow pets, and others do not. Allowable types of pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and added charges may apply. Ask the host about pets before booking.
  • If there's a certain Myrtle Beach beach you simply love, look for properties that are either near by, or those that cater to your desires.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. Confirm all required amenities are included before reserving a rental.

Some things to know before you go:

  • Get the property manager's phone number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental home.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, elevator or coffee maker. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief telephone call prevents lots of issues.
  • Lock your vacation home while you're away. Protect your property!
  • Upon arrival, document any damages to the rental property and immediately alert the property manager. Keep records of all coorespondence.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disagreeable visitors bothering your peaceful home. Use the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great restaurants and places you would've never otherwise known about!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Local residents can often help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Just prior to departing, take a final walk-through to make sure you didn't leave anything behind. Check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Remember to leave feedback! Property managers rely on great feedback to inspire future bookings. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other families will appreciate that you share your feedback find their best vacation rental. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to solve it.
