Finding the best Myrtle Beach rental home experience:
Finding your perfect rental:
- To find the best value, try shifting your trip dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and October offer great temperatures, less crowded beaches, and greatly reduced traffic.
- Reserve your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually become available a year in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families book their Summer vacations during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- Some property managers offer discounts or promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your family.
- Property management companies frequently offer renters an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for details.
- Many management companies supply Myrtle Beach area travel guide magazines which often include money-saving deals, either offered independently by local companies, or through a partnership between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.
How to choose the perfect vacation rental:

- Note the number bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your group requires. Ocean Lakes Site S33 - Unique Experience! Tiny House w\/ Loft & Sleeper! has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Myrtle Beach rental home search.

- Does your family require special amenities? Most rental search websites include search filters for amenities.
- Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. .
- If your group is traveling with pets, search for a pet-friendly property. Make sure to ask for details on breed, weight, and type requirements. Usually, property managers charge additional pet fees.
Tips to have a smooth stay:
- Get the host's contact number and check in/check out procedures for your rental home.
- To make sure damages are not linked to your family's visit, make note of any problem areas when you arrive. Call the host right away to record any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having a record of issues and contact attempts will be very helpful.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, television set or kitchen appliance. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief text message prevents lots of problems.
- Be respectful. Often, adjacent homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking policies reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
- Lock your rental while you are away. Protect the owner's property and your stuff!
- Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, walk through the rental property to confirm you've collected all of your things. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Record a video to document the condition of the property.
- After your trip, leave feedback! Hosts rely on excellent ratings to drive more reservations. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationers will be thankful you shared your feedback find their best rental home. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to remedy it.
