FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS for this property:
Q: 'Are there any hidden or additional costs?'
A: NO - There are no additional costs or resort costs. What you pay when you book is all you will pay for your stay.
Q: 'Is parking supplied?'
A: YES - Parking is complimentary. You will receive one parking pass per unit rented, message us if you need more. Please don’t write on it and return it to the unit before you leave to avoid a replacement charge. There are 2 parking garages that are available for parking at the Caravelle Resort.
Q: 'Do we need to bring linens and bath towels or are we required to rent them at an additional cost?'
A: NO - We provide bath towels, kitchen towels and linens for all beds. Your cleaning fee includes laundering of those items.
Q: 'Are there beach towels available for our use?'
A: NO - We do not provide beach towels.
Q: 'Are there beach chairs, umbrellas, or infant furnishings available for our use?'
A: YES - We do provide a pack-in-play, a highchair, beach chairs, and an umbrella. Please note, condition of these items may vary depending upon usage. Additionally, beach chairs and umbrellas are also available for daily rent from the life guards. Please message me for more information or for further clarification.
Q: 'Are pets allowed in this unit?'
A: NO, Sorry - Family Animals are not allowed at this resort or in this condo per our HOA bylaws.
Q: 'Can I smoke in the unit or on the balcony?'
A: NO, Sorry - Smoking is forbidden in this unit and on the balcony! It is very costly to have a service remove smoking odors. If we must have the unit treated because of the smell of smoke, you will be billed for the additional cost.
Q: 'Is the kitchen equipped for cooking and eating?'
A: YES - The kitchen is equipped with pots, pans, dishes, silverware, drinkware, hand blender and toaster. There is also a coffee, Keurig, and Nespresso maker.
Q: "Are there food condiments and coffee filters available in this condo?'
A: NO - We will leave condiments and coffee filters in the cupboard that prior guests leave behind, but we can’t guarantee that those things will be in the unit when you check in. All other types of food items left behind are disposed of at the checkout cleaning.
Q: 'Do I have to clean, make the beds or do the laundry?'
A: NO! We do ask that you take care of our condo and the furnishings, so it stays nice for others. We do have a few guidelines and expectations before you leave: please empty the refrigerator and freezer of all food and drink items, bag up your trash, and wash your dishes. We don't expect you to clean or do laundry before you check out, but please do not leave a lot of trash or a humongous mess for our cleaners. They often have a very modest amount of time to clean before the next guests arrive.
Q: ‘What time is check out? Can I get a late check out?’
A: Check out is at 10:00 a.m. We cannot guarantee a late check-out because we may have guests checking in later that day. Our cleaners will need sufficient time to get the room cleaned and ready for the next guests.

How to find the best Myrtle Beach rental home experience:
Get the best rental value:
- Summer months are the most expensive season along the coast of SC. Reserve your rental in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons to enjoy gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer months.
- Book your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families book their Summer vacations during holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- Property managers sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your group.
- Booking websites typically offer their guests an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for details.
- Many property management companies supply Myrtle Beach area travel guides which often include coupons, either offered directly by local businesses, or by way of a relationship between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach area magazine and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.
Use filters to narrow your rental search:
- To start, have your family decide on vacation dates and a budget.
- Note the number bedrooms and the bed configuration you need. Oceanfront Oasis!! The Caravelle Resort - 10th Floor has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rental home search.
- Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is normally accessible online. If you don't see them listed, contact the property management company before reserving the home. Note that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds and bunks. You will need to establish what is best for your vacation.
- If there's a particular Myrtle Beach attraction you are enamored with, search for homes that are either close by, or those that cater especially to your desires.
- Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. .
- If your family is traveling with pets, search for a pet-friendly vacation rental. Make sure to ask for details on breed, weight, and type requirements. Be aware that some hosts charge pet deposits and fees.
During your stay:
- We recommend storing the host's information in your smartphone.
- Record any issues with the rental upon arrival, and immediately send them to the owner. We especially recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain time stamps that are useful if a dispute arises.
- Property managers are there to help! Feel free to ask any questions during your stay.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like loud visitors bothering your home life. Apply the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great beaches and attractions you would have not otherwise known!
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can often help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to order delicious takeout, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
- Lock your rental home while you are away. Protect your property!
- Just before checking out, take a final walk-through to make sure you did not forget any personal items. Remember to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- Did your family have a fantastic stay? Most rental home management companies make it easy for customers to provide reviews. If your rental and/or host was terrific, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was imperfect and they failed to correct it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
