Finding the best Myrtle Beach vacation rental experience:
How to get the best rental home value:
- In the Myrtle Beach area, The sooner you can reserve a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The best vacation homes are reserved very early. Reserving your rental six - twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation home.
- To find the most suitable vacation home for your budget, we recommend booking in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons. You'll enjoy lower rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at Myrtle Beach restaurants, beaches, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the high season.
- Hosts sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans. Check with your property manager to see if rate reductions are available for your group.
- Property managers typically offer customers an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for additional information.
- Often, rental management companies supply Myrtle Beach area travel guide magazines that include special offers, either offered directly by local companies, or by way of a relationship with the management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.
Selecting the best vacation rental in Myrtle Beach:
- Choose a designated group leader, select your dates, and choose a max budget.
- Note the number bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration you need. Oceanfront 1Bed\/1 Bath Unit - by Luxury Beach Rentals has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our vacation rental search.
- Specific details about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is usually accessible on booking pages. Otherwise, reach out to the property management company before you reserve your home. Note that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which often includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You will need to establish which bed configuration is suitable for your trip.
- Some properties allow pets, but some do not. Acceptable types of dog or cat, weight and breeds may be restricted, and added costs may apply. Ask the host about allowable pet guidelines before booking.
- Visiting for a single event? If so, use a map search to locate nearby properties.
- Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for guests with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are available before booking.
Some things to know before you go:
- Put the manager's information in your smartphone.
- Property managers are great sources of help! Feel free to ask any questions during your stay.
- Keep the property locked while you are out! Don't let burglars ruin your holiday.
- At Check-in, note any damages to the property and immediately alert the property manager. Record all coorespondence.
- Be respectful. Frequently, nearby homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting noise limits and parking rules is the right thing to do.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Local residents can often help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
- Re-check every room of the property to make sure that you've packed all of your belongings on check-out day. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Go through the rental a final time and keep an eye out for damage. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager isn't available, ensure that you take video and pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
- After your trip, leave feedback! Property owners rely on great feedback to stimulate future bookings. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other vacationers will will be grateful for your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to fix it.
