Rental home booking tips:
Getting the most from your vacation rental budget:
- In the Myrtle Beach area, The sooner your group can book a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The best rental homes are reserved early. Reserving your vacation property up to 12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation rental.
- Summer months are high season in the Myrtle Beach area. To get the largest vacation home for your budget, we suggest booking in Fall or Spring months. You'll enjoy lower rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at Myrtle Beach restaurants, tours, and activities.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager if your family qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
- Booking websites typically offer renters an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for days missed as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for more information.
- Many management companies supply Myrtle Beach area visitors guide magazines which often include coupons, either offered directly by local companies, or by way of a relationship with the management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.
Narrow your Search:
- Select your dates and budget.
- Decide how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your group needs. Recently Updated! Oceanfront Condo-Palace 1404 has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
- Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed counts is commonly accessible on booking pages. If not, reach out to the property management company before reserving your rental. Remember that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You'll need to establish which bed configuration is optimal for your vacation.
- Some rentals allow pets, but others do not. Acceptable types of pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and added costs may apply. Ask your host about pets before booking.
- Are you visiting for a specific attraction or event? Try a map search to locate nearby rentals.
- Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. .
Tips to have a smooth stay:
- Put the owner's contact information in your smartphone.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, television set or WIFI setup. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief text message prevents a lot of difficulties.
- Protect the rental owner (and your things!) by locking the property when you are away, just like you would back home.
- To ensure that damages aren't linked to your family's visit, make note of any problem areas during check in. text the rental manager immediately to relay your findings. If there is a dispute, having the recorded issues and contact attempts will be helpful.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disrespectful vacationers disrupting your peaceful home. Employ the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great local food and places you would've never otherwise known!
- Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Local residents can frequently help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to grab the best tacos, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
- Double-check the vacation property to confirm that you've packed all belongings on check-out day. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Record a video to document the condition of the property.
- After your trip, leave feedback! Property owners rely on excellent reviews to drive new bookings. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationers will be thankful you shared your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to remedy it.
