Be sure to pack light! All towels, toiletries, linens, and linens are supplied. We also provide starter amenities such as toilet paper, paper towels, soap, shampoo, lotion, and conditioner for each reservation. We also provide 8 towels and 8 washcloths per bathroom.
While the Sea Mist is a 65-year-old complex, we have gone above and beyond to ensure that this unit is FAR from the average booking experience at a hotel. Past guests really adore the space, and we appreciate the fact that they treat it as if it were their own.
Sea Mist also offers many indoor and outdoor pools, jacuzzis, a sauna, a restaurant, a giant arcade, and even more amenities for you and your family to savor before calming in this gorgeous unit. (Please note that the mini waterpark across street, all water amenities, and movie theater are not available to our guests.)
The departure cleaning fee is in place to compensate the cleaner, the cost of toiletries, and the laundering of the towels, linens, and linens. We really want to make your experience with us as economical as possible! Unlike many properties managed by other companies and homeowners, we can accommodate daily housekeeping and mid-stay cleaning requests for a modest fee.
While we do our absolute best to ensure that all of our condos are cleaned, prepared, and comfortable for all of our guests, we do want to note that this resort is over 60 years old. Our prices reflect the age of the resort, décor, and condition of the amenities. We encourage all of our guests to do their own due diligence on the resorts and the area on all of our listings!

Our top Myrtle Beach vacation rental home tips and tricks:
Finding the best rental home value:
- Book your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules often open a year in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacation rentals during holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- Book your Myrtle Beach rental in Fall or Spring months to enjoy warm weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August.
- Property management companies sometimes offer discounts for veterans. Make sure to check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your group.
- Management companies and individual rental owners frequently offer their guests an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually will cost between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for more information.
- Often, property management companies supply Myrtle Beach area visitors guide magazines which will include special deals, either offered directly by local companies, or by way of a relationship with the property management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.
Use filters to narrow your search:
- To start, have your group decide on vacation dates and a maximum budget.
- Note the number bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your group needs. Oceanfront Double Queen Suite-Sea Mist 20601 has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rental home search.
- Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed counts is regularly available online. If not, email or call the host before you book the rental. Remember that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds and bunks. You'll need to establish what bed configuration is suitable for your vacation family.
- If your family is traveling with pets, filter your search for a property that allows animals. Request details on breed, weight, and type requirements. Be aware that some property owners charge additional pet fees.
- Visiting for a specific attraction? Try a map search to locate nearby properties.
- Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. Confirm all required amenities are included before reserving a rental.
During your stay:
- Take a copy of the property manager's phone number and check in/check out procedures for your rental home. We recommend storing the host's information in your smartphone and wallet.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a hot tub, television set or appliance. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief telephone call prevents a lot of issues.
- Ensure you protect the property owner (and your stuff!) by locking and securing the home while you are gone, just like you would back home.
- Make a record of any damages to the property at check in, and immediately e-mail them to the property manager. We especially recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be valuable if there is a dispute.
- Be a good neighbor. Often, nearby homes are occupied by permanent residents. Respecting noise limits and parking regulations is the right thing to do.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Local residents can frequently help. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
- Double-check every room of the vacation property to confirm that you've packed all of your family's items on check-out day. Make sure to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- Did your family have a great time? Many rental management companies make it easy for customers to provide comments. If your property and/or host was great, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was inoperable and they failed to fix it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
