What to Expect During the Renovation: Minimizing Disruptions
We understand the importance of a calming, fun stay for our guests, even as we make these improvements. That’s why our resort will remain open throughout the renovation period. Renovations will begin in early October and are expected to finish by the end of March. We’re working floor by floor in both the Dominican and Cayman buildings, ensuring the least amount of disruption.
Here’s what you can expect during this time:
Construction will only take place during normal business hours, and any noise will be kept to a minimum.
Common areas such as the lobby, exercise center, and game room may be temporarily closed, but we’re doing everything we can to offer alternative amenities when possible.
We aim to keep your experience as seamless and comfortable as possible while we work to make it even better!

Our top Vacation rental tips:
When to visit & When to reserve a Myrtle Beach rental home:
- Reserving a rental home in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons is our best tip for saving money on your vacation home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of acceptable homes.
- In the Myrtle Beach area, The earlier you can book a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The best properties are reserved early. Reserving your vacation rental up to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation rental.
- Owners sometimes offer rate reductions for veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your host or property manager to see if discounts are available for your family before you book.
- Booking websites frequently offer guests an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.
- Look for your local Myrtle Beach visitors guide upon arrival. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local information, travel guides contain offers and deals for local shops and restaurants.
Filter your rental search:
- Choose vacation dates and spending budget.
- Note the number beds and the configuration you need. Panoramic Perch 7th Flr Oceanfront 3 Bedroom Condo has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our search.
- Specific details about bedrooms and bed counts is commonly accessible on booking websites. Otherwise, reach out to the property owner before booking your home. Note that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds and bunks. You'll need to work out what configuration is optimal for your vacation family.
- Visiting for a single event or attraction? If so, use a map search to find nearby rentals.
- Suitable accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. Remember to confirm all required amenities are available before reserving a rental
- Some rentals allow pets, and some don't. Allowable types of pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and added fees may apply. Ask the owner about pet restrictions before booking.
More considerations:
- Take a copy of the property manager's contact number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental. Store the manager's information in your smartphone.
- To ensure that no damages are attributed to your family's stay, inspect for any problem areas when you arrive. Make contact with the host immediately to document any issues. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having the recorded problems and contact attempts will be very helpful.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, elevator or WIFI setup. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent quite a few concerns.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like obnoxious visitors bothering your peace and quiet. Use the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great restaurants and places you would have not otherwise known about!
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can often help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to order delicious takeout, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
- Keep the property locked while you are out! Don't let crooks spoil your family vacation.
- Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, walk through the rental property to reconfirm you've collected all personal items. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Inspect the rental one final time and scan for damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host is not available, remember to take video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
- Did your group have a excellent time? Many rental home management companies make it easy for travelers to provide comments. If your rental and/or property management company was wonderful, they would love to hear it. If anything was out of order and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
