Getting the best Myrtle Beach rental experience:
Getting the best rental home value:
- Summertime is high season in the Myrtle Beach area. Booking a rental in Fall or Spring is an excellent way to save money on your vacation home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable properties.
- Reserve your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally open 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families reserve their Summer rentals during holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- Some property managers offer promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your host or property manager if rate reductions are available for your family.
- Property management companies frequently offer customers an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for more information.
- Find a copy of your local Myrtle Beach area magazine upon arrival. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great articles, visitor guides have coupons for nearby shops and restaurants.
Filter your rental search:
- To start, have your group choose the best dates and a spending budget.
- Determine how many bedrooms and the configuration your family requires. Quite warm location near golfing grounds and intercoastal waters and beaches. has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Myrtle Beach rentals search.
- Specific details about bedrooms and bed types is usually available on booking pages. If they are not listed, email or call the property management company before booking the vacation property. Remember that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which typically includes pull out couches in living rooms. You will need to establish what configuration is right for your family.
- If there's a certain Myrtle Beach attraction you simply love, look for homes that are either near by, or those that cater to your desires.
- Appropriate accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. .
- If your family is traveling with pets, you will need a pet-friendly rental. Ask for information on breed, weight, and type requirements. Some property managers require additional pet deposits and fees.
More tips for your stay:
- Review arrival and departure procedures before traveling. Save the directions to your smartphone, and take a printed copy.
- During check-in, record any issues with the property and immediately alert the owner. Record all coorespondence.
- Hosts are great sources of help! Don't be shy to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
- Respecting quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay more pleasurable. You'll magnify your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are often a terrific source for finding the best local spots.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can typically help. Who better to ask where to launch your kayaks, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
- Keep your rental home locked while you are out! Don't let crooks spoil your trip.
- Re-check the property to make sure that you've packed everything on check-out day. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Inspect the rental one final time and look for any damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can. If the manager isn't available, remember to take photographs of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
- After your trip, leave a review! Property managers rely on excellent feedback to propel future bookings. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to remedy it.
