Finding the best Myrtle Beach rental experience:
Money saving strategies:
- The earlier you can reserve a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The best rental properties are reserved early. Reserving your vacation property up to 12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation home.
- Summer is the most expensive season along the coast of SC. Reserving a rental home in the Fall or Spring is our best tip for saving money on your rental home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable properties.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host if your group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
- Property management companies typically offer their guests an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually will cost you 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for specifics.
- Often, rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Myrtle Beach area visitor guide magazines that include money-saving offers, either offered independently by local companies, or through a relationship between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.
Use filters to narrow your rental search:
- Select a group leader, choose your dates, and select a maximum budget.
- Determine how many beds and the configuration your family requires. B338 at The Myrtle Beach Resort: Relax and Unwind has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
- Precise information about bedrooms and bed types is generally accessible on booking pages. Otherwise, email the property management company before you reserve your home. Note that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds. You will need to determine what configuration is right for your vacation family.
- Some rentals allow pets, but some do not. Allowable types of pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and additional costs may apply. Ask the host about allowable pet guidelines before booking.
- If there's a particular Myrtle Beach attraction you are enamored with, look for properties that are either close by, or those that cater especially to your desires.
- Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. .
During your stay:
- Take a copy of the property manager's contact number and check in/check out procedures for your rental property.
- Hosts are available to help! Don't be shy to ask any questions during your stay.
- Lock your vacation home while you are away. Protect the owner's property and your things!
- To make certain no damages are attributed to your visit, make note of any problem areas upon check in. message the property manager right away to record any issues. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having a record of issues and contact attempts will be helpful.
- Respect your neighbors. Frequently, nearby homes are filled by local residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Local residents can usually help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to order delicious takeout, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
- At departure, take a final walk-through to make sure you have not forget anything. Make sure to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Go through the rental one final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever you can. If the property manager isn't available, remember to take photos of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
- Did your family have a terrific vacation? Many vacation rental websites make it easy for guests to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or property management company was great, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was wrong and they failed to fix it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
