While the Sea Mist is a 65 year-old complex, we have gone above and beyond to ensure that this unit is FAR from the average booking experience at a hotel. Past guests really appreciate the space, and we appreciate the fact that they treat it as if it were their own.

Due to guest feedback, we have newly lowered the cleaning fee! The departure cleaning fee is in place to compensate the cleaner, the cost of toiletries, and the laundering of the towels, linens, and linens. We really want to make your experience with us as economical as possible! Unlike many properties managed by other companies and homeowners, we can accommodate daily housekeeping and mid staying cleaning requests for a modest fee.

Our top Myrtle Beach rental property booking tips:

Money saving strategies:

  • Summertime is the most expensive season in Myrtle Beach. To get the most suitable vacation home for your budget, we strongly suggest booking in Fall or Spring months. You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at your favorite Myrtle Beach restaurants and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
  • In the Myrtle Beach area, The earlier you can book, the easier your search will be. The best rental homes are reserved early. Reserving your vacation property 6-12 months before your vacation is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and book your rental property.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host whether your group qualifies for a price reduction.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners often offer their guests an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly costs 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for details.
  • Look for your local Myrtle Beach visitors guide upon arrival. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, visitors guide magazines contain coupons for nearby tours and attractions.

Planning and choosing your prefect Myrtle Beach vacation home:

  • Select a group lead, choose your vacation dates, and choose a maximum budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and the configuration you need. Renovated Oceanfront Condo! Perfect for 2-4 Guests! Sea Mist 20301 has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our search.
  • Precise information about bedrooms and bed types is normally accessible on booking pages. Otherwise, email the property manager before you book the vacation home. Note that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which usually includes pull out couches in living rooms. You will need to work out what configuration is optimal for your vacation group.
  • If there's a particular Myrtle Beach destination you long to visit, browse rentals that are either close by, or those that cater to your desires.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. .
  • Remember to include your furry companions! Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Remember to ask the property manager before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Additional pet fees or costs could be applied to your invoice.

Advice for a terrific stay:

  • Be sure you get the host's phone number and entry/exit procedures for your rental. Put the manager's information in your smartphone.
  • Note any damages to the property upon arrival, and immediately e-mail them to the owner. We especially recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain time stamps that can be very helpful if a dispute is filed.
  • Property managers are there to help! Feel free to ask any questions during your stay.
  • Don't forget to respect your neighbors. Often times, surrounding homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting noise limits and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Locals can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to take kids for a treat, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Ensure you protect the owner (and your things!) by keeping the rental locked up while you are out, just like you would at home.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, take a walk through the rental property to confirm you've collected all of your things. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the rental one final time and keep an eye out for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend inspecting the property with the property manager whenever possible. If the manager isn't available, take photographs of the property to record its condition.
  • Did your group have a wonderful time? Most rental home management companies make it easy for guests to provide feedback. If your property and/or property management company was fantastic, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was imperfect and they failed to fix it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
