Strategies to get the very best rental home experience:
Cost saving strategies:
- In the Myrtle Beach area, The earlier your group can book, the easier your search will be. The best rental properties are reserved very early. Booking your vacation home six - twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and book your rental.
- June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal SC. To book the most suitable rental home within your budget, we suggest booking in Spring or Fall. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at the beach and popular attractions.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host if your family qualifies for a price reduction.
- Booking websites frequently offer renters an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for days missed as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for details.
- Many property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Myrtle Beach area travel guides which will include special deals, either offered independently by local businesses, or through a relationship with the management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.
Choosing and booking the bestvacation home:
- Choose your vacation dates and spending budget.
- Note the number bedrooms and the configuration your group requires. SeaGlass Tower™ - 1 Bedroom Standard - Limited View has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Myrtle Beach vacation rental search.
- Precise information about bedrooms and bed counts is commonly available online. If they are not listed, call the property management company before reserving your home. Note that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds in living rooms. You will need to establish what configuration is suitable for your trip.
- Some rentals allow pets, but some do not. Allowable types of dog or cat, weight and breeds may be restricted, and additional charges may apply. Ask your host about pets before booking.
- If there's an individual Myrtle Beach destination you are enamored with, keep an eye out for properties that are either near by, or those that cater to your needs.
- Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. .
More tips for your visit:
- Be sure you get the property manager's phone number and entry/exit procedures for your rental. Store the manager's contact information in your smartphone.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a hot tub, intercom or appliance. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief text message can prevent quite a few concerns.
- Keep the property locked while you're out! Don't let thieves spoil your holiday.
- Make a record of any damages to the property upon arrival, and immediately send them to the property manager. We especially recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain time stamps that are helpful if a dispute arises.
- Be respectful of your neighbors. Often, surrounding homes are filled by local residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking rules reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Local residents can often help. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
- Re-check the property to make sure that you've packed all personal items at check-out. Re-check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Go through the property a final time and scan for any damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the manager isn't available, ensure that you take video and pictures of the property to record its condition.
- Did your family have a terrific time? Many rental websites make it easy for vacationers to provide reviews. If your property and/or property manager was wonderful, they would love to hear it. If anything was amiss and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
