Booking the best Myrtle Beach vacation property experience:
Find your best deal:
- June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Myrtle Beach area. Reserve your rental property in Spring or Fall to enjoy warm weather while saving money and avoiding crowds.
- The sooner your group can reserve a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable rental homes are reserved early. Booking your rental home up to 12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and book your vacation rental.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host if your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction.
- Booking websites frequently offer guests an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for program terms and fees.
- Look for your local Myrtle Beach visitors guide magazine when you check-in. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great local stories, visitors guide magazines contain money saving offers on nearby attractions, tours, restaurants, and shops.
Planning, selecting, and booking the rightvacation home:
- Begin by choosing trip dates and a max budget.
- Note the number beds and what type of bedroom configuration you need. HS-1023 - Snowbird specials are now available! has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Myrtle Beach rental home search.
- Precise information about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is often accessible on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, call the property manager before you book your rental. Note that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which usually includes pull out couches in living rooms. You will need to determine which bed configuration is right for your family.
- If there's an individual Myrtle Beach attraction you long to visit, browse properties that are either nearby, or those that cater especially to your requirements.
- Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Make certain to ask about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.
- Some rentals allow pets, and others don't. Allowable types of pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and added charges may apply. Ask your host about pet restrictions before booking.
More considerations for your visit:
- Take a copy of the host's contact number and check in/check out procedures for your . We recommend storing the host's information in your smartphone.
- Record any issues with the property upon arrival, and immediately contact the owner. We especially recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain time stamps that are valuable if damages are attributed to your stay.
- Hosts are available to help! Don't be shy to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
- Respecting quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. You will magnify your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors can be an excellent resource to find the best local restaurants, beaches, and hangouts.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Locals can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to rent beach equipment, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
- Lock your rental while you're away. Protect your property!
- Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, take a walk through the rental property to make sure you've collected everything. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Record a video to document the condition of the property.
- Did you have a excellent time? Most rental management companies make it easy for customers to provide feedback. If your property and/or property management company was wonderful, they would love to hear it. If anything was inoperable and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
