How to get the best Myrtle Beach rental experience:
Get the best rental home value:
- The earlier your group can book a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable properties are booked early. Booking your vacation property up to 12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation rental.
- June, July, and August are high season in the Myrtle Beach area. To find the best value, consider changing your family's Myrtle Beach vacation dates to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and even October offer warmer temperatures, , and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during June, July, and August.
- Some owners offer special rates for active duty military and veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your group before you book.
- Booking websites frequently offer customers an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed trip time as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.
- Many rental management companies supply Myrtle Beach area visitor guide magazines which will include coupons, either offered directly by local businesses, or through a relationship between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.
Make a plan and pick the right Myrtle Beach rental:
- Begin by selecting your potential vacation weeks and a spending budget.
- Decide how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your family requires. Upscale and Modern Ocean View Queen Suite!- Sea Mist 50707 has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
- Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is almost always accessible on booking pages. Otherwise, contact the property manager before you book the home. Remember that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which usually includes pull out couches in living rooms.
- If your family is traveling with pets, you'll need to search for a pet-friendly vacation rental. Get details on breed, weight, and type requirements. Some property owners charge pet deposits and fees.
- If there's an individual Myrtle Beach attraction you simply love, browse rentals that are either near by, or those that cater to your needs.
- Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for guests with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are available before reserving a rental.
Some things to know before you go:
- Add the property manager's information to your smartphone. Take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, elevator or coffee maker. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief call prevents quite a few issues.
- Lock your rental home while you are out and about. Keep your property safe!
- To ensure that damages aren't attributed to your stay, inspect the rental for any problem areas upon your arrival. text the rental manager right away to report any issues. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having a record of problems and contact attempts will be valuable.
- Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. You will enhance your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are a great source for finding the best local scenic spots.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Local residents can often help. Who better to ask where to get the best breakfast in town, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
- Re-check every room of the property to confirm that you've packed all of your belongings on check-out day. Re-check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Inspect the rental a final time and look for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the property manager whenever possible. If the host is not available, ensure that you take pictures of the property to record its condition at check-out.
- Remember to leave a review! Hosts rely on great ratings to drive more reservations. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationing families will will be grateful for your review find their best vacation rental. Remember to be objective.
