Finding the best Myrtle Beach rental experience:

Getting the most from your budget:

  • To get the best value, consider shifting your family's Myrtle Beach trip dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and October offer pleasant weather, less crowded beaches, and greatly reduced traffic.
  • In the Myrtle Beach area, The earlier you can reserve a home, the better your selection will be. The best rental homes are reserved early. Reserving your vacation property up to 12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental home.
  • Owners sometimes offer special rates for veterans and active duty military. Remember to ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your family before you book.
  • Property management companies typically offer customers an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for specifics.
  • Often, property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Myrtle Beach area visitors guide magazines that include special deals, either offered directly by local businesses, or through a relationship with the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach area magazine and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

How to choose the best rental home in Myrtle Beach:

  • Select a group lead, choose your trip dates, and select a budget.
  • Decide how many beds and the configuration your group needs. 2nd-floor oceanfront studio with AC, pool, & hot tub has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts & types is generally accessible on booking websites. If not, email or call the property owner before reserving your home. Remember that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds in living rooms. You will need to determine what is right for your family.
  • Are you visiting for a specific attraction? Try a map search to locate nearby properties.
  • Proper accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with a disability. Make certain to inquire about wheel chair accessibility, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
  • Some rentals allow pets, but some don't. Acceptable types of dog or cat, size and breeds may be restricted, and additional fees may apply. Ask the property management company about pet restrictions before booking.

Advice for a wonderful stay:

  • Be sure you get the host's contact number and check in/check out procedures for your .
  • To make certain that damages aren't linked to your visit, inspect for any problem areas during check in. Call the rental manager immediately to document your findings. If there is a dispute, having a record of issues and contact attempts will be helpful.
  • Hosts are there to help! Don't be shy to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay more pleasurable. You will magnify your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are usually a terrific resource to find the best local attractions.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Local residents can frequently point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to see a beautiful sunrise or sunset, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Lock your rental property while you're out! Don't let burglars ruin your holiday.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the rental property to reconfirm you've collected all personal items. Re-check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the property one final time and scan for damage. We advise inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can. If the property manager is not available, remember to take video and pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Leave feedback! Property owners rely on excellent feedback to drive more reservations. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationing families will be thankful you shared your review and help them have the best future vacation. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to remedy it.
