- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host if your group qualifies for a special rate.
- Management companies and individual rental owners often offer guests an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for more information.
- Look for your local Myrtle Beach visitors guide when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, visitor guides contain coupons for local accommodations and attractions.
Planning and choosing the right Myrtle Beach vacation home:
- Select a group lead, choose your vacation week, and choose a max budget.
- Note the number beds and the bed configuration your family needs. 4 Bedroom Cottage in the Shore Drive section has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our vacation rental search.
- Precise information about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is commonly accessible on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, email the property management company before you reserve the home. Note that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which often includes pull-out couches.

- Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Confirm all necessary amenities are available and included before reserving a rental
