Getting the best vacation property experience:
How to get the best rental home value:
- The earlier your group can reserve a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The best rental homes are reserved very early. Booking your vacation home up to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and book your rental property.
- To book the best vacation home within your budget, we recommend booking in the Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at Myrtle Beach restaurants, beaches, and activities.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
- Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer their guests an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally will cost 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed time as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for details.
- Often, rental management companies supply Myrtle Beach area travel guide magazines that include special offers, either offered independently by local businesses, or by way of a partnership between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.
Use filters to search efficiently:
- To start, have your group select a vacation week and a spending budget.
- Decide how many beds and the bed configuration your family requires. \"A Wave'n Grace\" Gorgeous Oceanfront Condo w\/Panoramic Balcony Views has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our search.
- Precise information about bedrooms and bed counts & types is normally available online. If they are not listed, call the host before you book the rental. Note that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds. You'll need to establish what configuration is optimal for your vacation family.
- Some properties allow pets, and others do not. Allowable types of pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and added fees may apply. Ask your host about pets before booking.
- Are you visiting for a single event or attraction? If so, use a map search to browse nearby rentals.
- Proper accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. .
More tips for your visit:
- Put the host's information in your smartphone and wallet.
- Hosts are there to help! Don't be shy to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
- Protect the owner (and your things!) by locking the property when you are gone, just like you would at home.
- To ensure that damages aren't linked to your stay, inspect for any problem areas during check in. Get in touch with the host right away to record any issues. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having the recorded problems and contact attempts will be helpful.
- Be a good neighbor. Often times, nearby homes are filled by local residents. Respecting noise limits and parking rules is the right thing to do.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Residents can frequently help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
- Double-check the rental property to make sure that you've packed all belongings at check-out. Check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Record a video to document the condition of the property.
- After your trip, leave a review! Property owners rely on great reviews to stimulate future reservations. They'll be thankful for your review. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationing families will will be grateful for your review and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to remedy it.
