Tips for getting the best Myrtle Beach vacation property experience:
Cost saving strategies:
- In the Myrtle Beach area, The sooner your group can reserve a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation homes are booked early. Reserving your vacation property six - twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental.
- June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Myrtle Beach. Reserving a rental home in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons is one of our best tips for saving money on your vacation home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of desirable homes.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner whether your family qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
- Booking websites often offer their guests an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.
- Often, rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Myrtle Beach area visitors guides which often include special deals, either offered independently by local companies, or through a relationship between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.
Choosing the best vacation rental in the Myrtle Beach area:
- Start by selecting your vacation dates and a max budget.
- Decide how many bedrooms and the bed configuration you need. \"A Wave'n Grace\" Gorgeous Oceanfront Condo w\/Panoramic Balcony Views has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
- Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is often available online. If not, contact the property management company before booking your home. Remember that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds in living rooms.

- Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. .
More considerations for your visit:
- Take a copy of the owner's contact number and arrival/departure procedures for your .
- Property managers are there to help! Feel free to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
- Lock your rental property while you're gone! Don't let burglars spoil your holiday.
- To make certain that damages are not attributed to your family's visit, inspect for any problem areas upon check in. E-mail the host immediately to document your findings. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having a record of concerns and contact attempts will be helpful.
- Respecting quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay more pleasurable. You will enhance your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are often an incredible resource to find the best local beaches and restaurants.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Local residents can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
- Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, walk through the property to make sure you've collected all personal belongings. Remember to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Please make sure to walk through the rental a final time and scan for damages to contents or the property itself. We suggest walking through with the host whenever possible. If the host isn't available, take video and pictures of the property to record its condition.
- Did your group have a great time? Many rental websites make it easy for guests to provide comments. If your property and/or property management company was great, they would love to hear about it. If anything was amiss and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
