FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS for this property:

Q: How has COVID affected access to conveniences?
A: The beach is open! Area eateries are open for indoor seating, outdoor seating, delivery, and take out. THE POOLS AND WATER AMENITIES ARE ALSO OPEN! Availability and closures are subject to change without notice, and resort eateries/bars/indoor non-water amenities may be limited or unavailable to private rental guests due to social distancing.

Q: 'Are there any hidden costs?'
A: NO - There are no required 'surprise' costs or resort costs. What you pay when you book is all you will pay for your stay.

Q: 'Can I Pay for Access to Additional Conveniences?'
A: NO – Sorry, but the building front desk has decided that they do not want to share access to specific amenities that they directly own. They do not allow guests to purchase entry to those amenities. You will still have access to the amenities listed here at no additional charge and never have to pay a resort fee for that access.

Q: 'Can I Check-In Early?'
A: MAYBE – Our cleaners offer a very limited number of priority check-ins each day that would allow guests to arrive at noon.  The cost is $50 and they must be booked at least 48 hours in advance. They are available on a first come, first served basis. If you would like to add this to your booking, please message us and we will provide additional instructions.

Q: 'Can I Check-Out Late?'
A: NO – Sorry, but due to the cleaning schedule, departure times cannot be changed.

Q: 'Can I Pay for an Extra Parking Pass?'
A: NO – Sorry, but parking pass limits are set by the buildings due to the limited parking space available. However, in Myrtle Beach, you can contact the Pavillion Parking Garage that will allow you to park at most meters in the City of Myrtle Beach. The cost of a visitor meter pass is currently $30 per week (Spring 2022).

Q: 'Are there pool arm bands?'
A: MAYBE - Pool arm bands are only required during peak season. During this time, you should receive one band per person staying in the unit. Please be sure to provide an accurate count when booking or you may not be supplied with enough. We receive limited numbers of pool bands and then we have to purchase them. Please return them to the unit before you leave to avoid a replacement charge.

Q: 'Do I have to clean/make the beds/do the laundry?'
A: NO - You are on vacation! However, we do ask that you treat the property with care so it stays nice for others & follow a few guidelines before you leave: Please empty the refrigerator, bag up your trash & take out any excess that won’t fit in the cans, and wash your dishes or load/run the dishwasher (if equipped) before you leave. We do not expect you to clean or do laundry before you check out, but we do ask that you tidy up after yourself with those few items that are not included in the cleaning fee.

Q: 'Do you allow family pets?'
A: NO, sorry - Family Animals are not allowed at this resort per our HOA bylaws. However, we do currently rent 5 properties where we can accept modest dogs. Contact us for more details.

Q: 'Can I smoke in the unit or on the balcony?'
A: NO, sorry – SMOKING OF ANY KIND IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN in this unit and on the balcony - no exceptions. It is very costly to have a service remove smoking odors - especially in the short time between guests. If we need to have the unit treated because of the smell of smoke or if we find that you have tampered with the smoke detectors to hide that smoking has occurred, it will result in a minimum $250 charge. Please be sure to read the entire rental agreement and home rules for more information about smoking.

Q: 'Are there pots/pans/dishes?'
A: YES - The kitchen is equipped with the basic items needed for cooking/eating. If there is some specialty modest appliance you enjoy, please feel complimentary to bring it along.

Finding the best Myrtle Beach rental home experience:

Sticking to a rental home budget:

  • Summer is the most expensive season in coastal SC. To get the best value, consider changing your group's trip dates to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and October offer great temperatures, fewer crowds, and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • Book your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner whether your group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
  • Property management companies frequently offer customers an option to buy vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for more information.
  • Find a copy of your local Myrtle Beach area magazine when you check-in. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local stories, travel guide magazines contain coupons for local shops and restaurants.

Make a plan and choose the best Myrtle Beach vacation home:

  • Select vacation week and max budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and the bed configuration your group requires. Elegant Beach View Condo*King*Pool*FREE Tickets*M149 has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed counts & types is generally available on booking pages. If not, email or call the property owner before you book the vacation home. Note that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You will need to establish what configuration is best for your vacation.
  • Looking for special amenities? Most rental websites include search filters for amenities. Filtering by amenity will allow you to quickly find the perfect rental home.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for guests with disabilities. .
  • If your group is vacationing with pets, search for a pet-friendly vacation rental. Ask for information on breed, weight, and type requirements. Usually, property owners require additional pet deposits and fees.

Advice for a wonderful stay:

  • Review arrival and departure procedures before traveling. Add a note with the instructions to your smartphone, and take a printed backup.
  • To make sure damages are not attributed to your family's visit, make a record of any problem areas upon check in. Speak to the property manager immediately to report any issues. If there is a dispute, having the recorded issues and contact attempts will be useful.
  • Hosts are available to help! Don't be shy to ask questions during your stay.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. You will increase your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are usually an incredible resource to find the best local beaches and restaurants.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Local residents can often point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Lock your rental while you are out. Protect your property!
  • When it's time to leave, complete a walk-through to make sure you haven't forget anything. Re-check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Remember to leave a review! Property managers rely on excellent feedback to drive future reservations. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationers will be thankful you shared your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to fix it.
