Strategies for getting the perfect rental experience:
Money saving strategies:
- To find the most suitable rental home for your budget, we highly recommend reserving in the Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at your favorite restaurants and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
- In the Myrtle Beach area, The earlier you can book a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental properties are reserved very early. Booking your vacation property six - twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and book your vacation home.
- Some property management companies offer discounts for veterans. Ask your property manager if discounts are available for your group before you book.
- Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer customers an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually costs between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for days missed as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for specifics.
- Find a copy of your local visitors guide upon arrival. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, travel guide magazines have offers and deals for local accommodations, tours and attractions.
Use filters to narrow your rental search:
- Start by having your family commit to trip dates and a max budget.
- Determine how many bedrooms and the bed configuration you need. Amazing Views - Ocean Front 3BR Condo! has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
- Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is almost always accessible on booking websites. If not, contact the property management company before you reserve the property. Note that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which often includes pull out couches in living rooms. You'll need to work out which bed configuration is right for your vacation group.
- If there's an individual Myrtle Beach destination you are enamored with, browse homes that are either close by, or those that cater especially to your desires.
- Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for those with limited mobility. .
- Are you traveling with furry, four-legged family members? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Ask your property manager before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Additional fees or charges may be applied to your agreement.
Know before you go:
- Store the manager's information in your smartphone.
- To make certain that damages aren't attributed to your family's visit, inspect for any problem areas upon check in. Speak to the rental manager right away to relay any damages. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be useful.
- Hosts are great sources of help! Don't be shy to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
- Respect the neighborhood. Often, nearby homes are occupied by permanent residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking rules reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
- Lock your rental property while you're gone! Don't let crooks ruin your trip.
- Upon check-out, take a walk-through to make sure you have not forget anything. Remember to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.

Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other vacationing families will will be grateful for your review find their best vacation home. Please be objective.
