Strategies for getting the perfect rental experience:
Getting the best rental value:
- Book your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families book their Summer vacation rentals during Winter holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- Summer is the most expensive season in Myrtle Beach. Booking your Myrtle Beach vacation rental in Fall or Spring is a good way to save on your vacation rental. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable properties. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host whether your family qualifies for a reduced rate.
- Booking websites usually offer their guests an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for additional information.
- Often, management companies and vacation rental houses supply Myrtle Beach area visitors guide magazines which include special offers, either offered directly by local businesses, or by way of a relationship with the management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.
Planning and choosing a perfectrental home:
- Start by selecting the best vacation week and a maximum budget.
- Note the number beds and the configuration you need. Quiet Beach access Myrtle Beach Condo Rental has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Myrtle Beach rental home search.
- Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts & types is commonly available on booking websites. If they are not listed, email the property owner before booking the rental. Remember that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds and bunks. You will need to establish what is best for your vacation group.
- If your family is traveling with pets, you must reserve a rental that allows animals. Make sure to ask for information on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Note that some hosts require additional pet deposits and fees.
- If there's an individual Myrtle Beach destination you are crazy about, look for properties that are either near by, or those that cater to your requirements.
- Suitable accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. .
Some things to know before you go:
- Store the owner's information in your smartphone and wallet.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, intercom or appliance. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief phone call prevents quite a few concerns.
- Lock your rental home while you are out and about. Protect your property!
- To make sure that damages aren't linked to your family's visit, inspect for any problem areas during arrival. text the property manager immediately to record any damages. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having a record of concerns and contact attempts will be valuable.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disrespectful visitors disrupting your peace and quiet. Employ the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great beaches and attractions you would have not otherwise known!
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Locals can typically help. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
- Re-check the rental property to make sure that you've packed all of your family's items at departure. Check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Record a video to document the condition of the property.
- Did you have a excellent time? Most rental managers make it easy for travelers to provide reviews. If your property and/or property manager was fantastic, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was defective and they failed to fix it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
