Strategies for getting the perfect Myrtle Beach rental experience:
When to visit & When to book:
- Summer is the most expensive season along the coast of SC. To book the most suitable rental home within your budget, we highly recommend booking in Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at popular attractions and restaurants.
- Reserve your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules often become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families book their Summer rental homes during Winter holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a special rate.
- Property management companies frequently offer their guests an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost you between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for details.
- Find a copy of your local Myrtle Beach visitors guide magazine when you check-in. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, visitor guide magazines contain deals for local tours and attractions.
Use filters to search efficiently:
- Select a group lead, select your dates, and choose a maximum budget.
- Decide how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration you need. Beach Life Oceanfront Efficiency Tides 108 has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Myrtle Beach rentals search.
- Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is normally available on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, contact the host before booking the home. Note that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which usually includes pull out couches in living rooms. You will need to work out what configuration is suitable for your family.
- Visiting for a single attraction? Use a map search to locate nearby rentals.
- Proper accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for those with limited mobility. Confirm all necessary amenities are included before booking
- Some properties allow pets, but others don't. Acceptable types of family pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and additional charges may apply. Ask the property manager about your furry family members before booking.
Tips for your stay:
- Take a copy of the owner's phone number and entry/exit procedures for your rental property.
- To make certain that damages are not linked to your visit, make note of any problem areas upon your arrival. Contact the host right away to relay any damages. If there is a dispute, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be valuable.
- Property managers are great sources of help! Feel free to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
- Be respectful. Often, adjacent homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations is the right thing to do.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can usually help. Who better to ask where to take kids for a treat, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
- Lock your rental while you're out. Protect your property!
- Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, walk through the property to reconfirm you've collected all belongings. Make sure to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Go through the rental one final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can. If the host isn't available, ensure that you take photos of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
- After your trip, leave feedback! Property owners rely on excellent feedback to inspire more reservations. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationers will will be grateful for your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to fix it.
