Savor vacation yet limit your exposure to viruses. We take cleaning seriously. No livable place on earth is germ-complimentary, but our maid understands the need to be thorough. Surfaces are cleaned with proper disinfecting products. All towels, sheets, bedspreads, blankets, bed covers, and mats are washed for each booking.
Our condo unit has its own individual AC System, unlike a hotel, which prevents shared airflow between you and other guests. The AC system was freshly installed, January 2020, and the company touts that the AC filters are Nano Platinum technology capable of killing bacteria and viruses.
The hallways at Ocean Forest Villa are open-air hallways, meaning there is no recycled or shared, stuffy air to breath as you come and go - just fresh ocean breeze all day and all nighttime. There are no elevators causing close proximity to others in a confined space.

Why this property? Our long term goal is to connect with a dozen or so guests who appreciate the place as much as we do and would like to make B-106 their home-away-from home when they need some beach time. This limited access makes it a better place for everybody involved. We want to be able to equip and supply the place with extras you wont find at a hotel or other vacation units. The condo has an activated ring-doorbell. We want each guest to have a phenomenal vacation and feel like B-106 is their beach home, too. Even if you are only interested in a one-time rental, give B106 a try. We believe you are going to adore it!

Strategies for getting the perfect Myrtle Beach vacation property experience:
Sticking to a budget:
- To get the best value, try changing your group's vacation dates to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and even October offer warm temperatures, fewer crowds, and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
- Book your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules generally become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacations during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- Property managers sometimes offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Remember to ask your property manager if special offers are available for your group.
- Booking websites usually offer customers an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for additional information.
- Many management companies and vacation rental houses supply Myrtle Beach area visitor guides that include money-saving deals, either offered independently by local companies, or by way of a relationship with the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach area magazine and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.
How to choose and book the best Myrtle Beach vacation home:
- Choose a group leader, select your vacation week, and select a budget.
- Determine how many bedrooms and the configuration you need. Beachfront condo - clean, bright, newly remodeled w\/ ocean views, pool + hot tub has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
- Precise information about bedrooms and bed counts & types is usually available on booking websites. If they are not listed, contact the host before reserving the vacation home. Note that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which typically includes pull-out couches. You'll need to work out which bed configuration is best for your group.
- Are you visiting for a specific event or attraction? Use a map search to browse nearby rentals.
- Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Make certain to inquire about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.
- Traveling with pets? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your agreement! Additional pet fees or charges applied to your agreement.
Tips for a smooth stay:
- Add the owner's contact information to your phone. Print and take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
- To make sure that no damages are linked to your family's stay, record any problem areas during arrival. Contact the property manager immediately to record any issues. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having the recorded problems and contact attempts will be useful.
- Property managers are great sources of help! Don't be shy to ask any questions during your stay.
- Respecting quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay more pleasurable. You will magnify your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors can be a terrific resource to find the best local attractions.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can frequently point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to grab the best tacos, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
- Keep the property locked while you are away! Don't let burglars spoil your family vacation.
- Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, walk through the rental to confirm you've collected all of your things. Make sure to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- Remember to leave feedback! Hosts rely on good feedback to compel new bookings. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other vacationers will will be grateful for your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to solve it.
