★ FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ★
* Has COVID affected access to conveniences? Not at this time. The beach, pools, and water amenities are open! Area eateries are open for indoor seating, outdoor seating, delivery, and take-out.
* Are there any hidden costs? Absolutely not. There are no required 'surprise' costs or resort costs. What you pay when you book is all you will pay for your stay. We can connect you with local partners to rent beach chairs/umbrella/beach towel/infant furnishings units, which can be delivered prior to your arrival. Message us for more information.
* Do we have to bring bath towels and linens or rent them at an additional cost? Heck no! Bath towels and linens are included, and your departure cleaning fee includes laundering of those items.
* Is parking supplied? Yes, parking is complimentary for one car. You will receive one parking pass per unit rented, which is limited by the HOA. We receive limited numbers of parking passes and then we have to purchase them. Please don't write on it and return it to the unit before you leave to avoid a replacement charge.
* Are there pool armbands? MAYBE - Pool armbands are only required during peak season. During this time, you should receive one band per person staying in the unit. Please be sure to provide an accurate count when booking or you may not be supplied with enough.
* Do I have to clean/make the beds/do the laundry? No, you are on vacation! Our professional cleaning and sanitation team will take care of that for you.
* Do you allow family pets? Unfortunately, pets are not allowed at this resort per our HOA bylaws.
* Can I smoke in the unit or on the balcony? NO. Smoking is stringently forbidden in this unit and on the balcony - no exceptions. It is very costly to have a service remove smoking odors - especially in the short time between guests. If we need to have the unit treated because of the smell of smoke, we will hold your entire security deposit to cover the cost.
* Are there pots/pans/dishes? Yes, the kitchen is equipped with all of the basic items needed for cooking/eating.
* Do you provide food, condiments, coffee filters, etc.? No, this is a self-catering unit, and you will need to provide all food.
* What water amenities are included? Guests have access to all of the standard water amenities (indoor and outdoor pools, lazy river, hot tubs that are located next to and behind the oceanfront building). The mini waterpark between the building and Ocean Blvd. and fun zone pool area are owned and operated by on-site hotel management, and their guests pay an additional resort fee for exclusive access. How to book the best rental experience:
Sticking to a budget:
- The sooner you can reserve a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The best rental homes are reserved early. Booking your vacation rental six - twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and book your rental.
- June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Myrtle Beach area. Reserve your Myrtle Beach rental in the Spring or Fall to get the benefit of beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the high season.
- Some hosts offer discounts or promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your property manager to see if discounts are available for your family before you book.
- Property management companies often offer their guests an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for additional information.
- Often, property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Myrtle Beach area travel guides which will include coupons, either offered directly by local businesses, or through a relationship with the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.
Planning, selecting, and booking the right Myrtle Beach vacation home:
- First and foremost, have your group decide on date ranges and a budget.
- Determine how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration your family needs. Beachfront, Pools, Lazy River, Kitchenette has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
- Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts & types is usually available online. If they are not listed, email the property owner before reserving the home. Remember that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which typically includes pull out couches in living rooms. You will need to determine which bed configuration is suitable for your family.
- Some rentals allow pets, but some do not. Allowable types of dog or cat, weight and breeds may be restricted, and additional fees may apply. Ask the property manager about pets before booking.
- If there's a certain Myrtle Beach beach you simply love, browse homes that are either near by, or those that cater to your desires.
- Proper accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Make certain to ask about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.
Some things to know before you go:
- Store the manager's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a hot tub, intercom or appliance. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief telephone call prevents a lot of issues.
- Lock your vacation home while you are out and about. Keep your property safe!
- During check-in, make note of any damages to the property and immediately contact the owner. Record all coorespondence.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like obnoxious vacationers bothering your quiet neighborhood. Apply the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great local food and attractions you would've not otherwise known!
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Residents can often point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to charter a fishing boat, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
- Re-check the rental property to make sure that you've packed everything at check-out. Remember to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Inspect the rental one final time and scan for any damage. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the manager isn't available, take photographs of the property to record its condition.
- Did your group have a wonderful stay? Most rental management companies make it easy for vacationers to provide feedback. If your property and/or property management company was fantastic, they would love to hear about it. If anything was out of order and they failed to correct it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
