Why just escape to the beach? Why not savor roomy accommodations, which not only offer handsome vistas of the ocean, coastline and Kingston Plantation, but give you the freedom to stretch out and relax while taking life in at your own pace? Our three bedroom, three full bath condominium fits the bill! You will feel like you have an eagle's eye view from our 2,238 square foot, corner, ocean view residence on the 24th floor of the premier Margate high-rise in Kingston Plantation. You can see for miles up the coast on the northern horizon from our humongous 448 square feet, wrap-around deck!
LIVING ROOM:
Our living room is decorated with brand new furnishings for 2023, including a pull-out couch, loveseat, and chair. The couch transforms into a queen size bed! A sizable ottoman also makes it painless to relax or for providing additional seating.
KITCHEN:
This is no galley kitchen! It is huge and with this open-concept floorplan, you will feel supplied wherever you are in proximity to everybody. We have full-size stainless steel appliances (refrigerator, glass-top range, microwave, and dishwasher). The kitchen offers granite countertops with plenty of room for meal prepping, and a breakfast bar is also adorned with a granite countertop and three bar-height chairs similar in design to the dining set. We have a Keurig, regular coffee maker, and a four-slot bagel size toaster.
DINING ROOM:
Our dining area is furnished with a modern dining set that accommodates six comfortably. Serve up meals you prepared in our kitchen, or even from takeout from one of the many eateries you can find in and just outside Kingston Plantation. It's your choice!!
BEDROOMS:
We have three extremely cavernous bedrooms to sleep up to eight people (the pull-out queen size couch can sleep the additional two people). Every bedroom has a TV with cable, and its own access to a deck. The MASTER BEDROOM is located on the corner where the main deck wraps around. It has a king bed with a view of the coastline from the window and a plantation view from the sliding door. The SECOND MASTER SUITE off the dining room/kitchen area is somewhat unique and is ideal for the person/couple who likes to withdraw to the quietness of solitude and do their own thing. There are double doors separating this bedroom, and a full bathroom with it, from the rest of the common area. It is furnished with two queen beds. This particular bedroom also has its own smaller private deck with a view of an broad landscape that includes Kingston Plantation and its lush, charmingly manicured grounds and the western skyline. The GUEST BEDROOM nearest the entryway has a new for 2023, comfortable queen bed. The sliding door in this bedroom takes you out to the main deck at its closest point to the ocean. Even this guest bedroom has its own full bathroom!
BATHROOMS:
We have three full bathrooms to suit the needs of a group of people who need to get ready at the same time! The MASTER BATHROOM is spacious. It features a double-sink vanity, a whirlpool tub, a stall shower and a enormous closet to hang your clothes for convenient changing. The stall shower and commode are in a separate area with a door that can be closed off from the rest of the bathroom. The SECOND MASTER SUITE also features a double-sink vanity, a shower/tub combo and commode. This bathroom is also very spacious in its own right. The GUEST BATHROOM (inside the bedroom nearest the entry) has a single vanity, a stall shower and commode.
LAUNDRY/UTILITY "BEACH" ROOM:
Talk about convenient! This room is one of the nicer features within the Margate tower. Our laundry room is located just off the kitchen and has its own access from the main hall outside the condo. Complete with full-size, washer and dryer, it also has a utility sink for rinsing out bathing suits before placing them in the washer. Going through this room instead of the entryway when coming back from a day at (or walk on) the beach accepts you to keep the sand in the condo to a minimum!
OTHER THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT OUR HOME:
When you arrive, you will notice how fresh and clean the condo smells. We are able to maintain this by keeping it a NON-SMOKING household.
PLEASE READ:
As Vacation Rental By Owner guests, you WILL NOT have access to the new Waterpark, etc located at the Embassy Suites, which is reserved for homeowners and guests who rent through the Embassy Suites rental program. Please understand that this is not our choice and not an option that we can provide to you (we are not even able to pay and provide this to you). YOU WILL have access to the striking Margate pool and hot tub, the Beach Club Pool (between the South and North Hampton towers), as well as the pool located within the Windermere by the Sea community (across the street from the Brighton Tower). The Apache Pier is in extreme close proximity to the Margate tower, and there is a BRAND NEW restaurant on site only 2 buildings down called Black Drum Brewing.
Kingston Plantation has a sport and exercise center with tennis and pickle ball courts that can be used by guests for an additional separate charge as well as a full spa. If you are interested in using the facility or courts, you may inquire about costs by contacting 78Fitness or Spa33 directly. We are not affiliated with either.
**We typically offer beach chairs and umbrellas for the season set up each morning by the lifeguards and paid for in advance, however the company that provides this service is no longer offering it. Our top Myrtle Beach vacation rental home tips and tricks:
Get the most from your spending budget:
- June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Myrtle Beach area. To find the best value, try shifting your group's vacation to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and October offer great temperatures, fewer crowds, and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
- In the Myrtle Beach area, The earlier you can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The best vacation homes are booked early. Booking your vacation rental six - twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and book your rental property.
- Owners sometimes offer rate reductions for veterans. Ask your host or property manager if special discounts are available for your family before you book.
- Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer their guests an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for additional information.
- Many rental management companies supply Myrtle Beach area travel guides which often include special offers, either offered directly by local companies, or through a partnership between the management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.
Planning and choosing the perfectvacation home:
- First and foremost, have your group choose dates and a max budget.
- Note the number beds and the bed configuration your family needs. Beautiful & Spacious 24th floor 3bd-3ba unit! has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
- Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is usually accessible on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, contact the property manager before booking your rental. Remember that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You'll need to establish what is best for your group.
- If there's a certain Myrtle Beach attraction you long to visit, search for homes that are either nearby, or those that cater to your desires.
- Appropriate accessibility can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. Confirm all required amenities are included before booking.
- Some rentals allow pets, and others do not. Allowable types of dog or cat, weight and breeds may be restricted, and additional charges may apply. Ask the host about pet restrictions before booking.
Additional considerations:
- Take a copy of the owner's phone number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental home.
- Document any damages to the property during check in, and immediately send them to the property manager. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be useful if there is a dispute.
- Property managers are great sources of help! Don't be shy to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
- Don't forget to respect your neighbors. Frequently, adjacent homes are occupied by permanent residents. Respecting noise limits and parking regulations is the right thing to do.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can frequently point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to find the best bike paths, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
- Ensure you protect the owner (and your stuff!) by locking the rental when you are away, just like you would at home.
- Double-check every room of the rental property to confirm that you've packed all of your belongings on check-out day. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Please make sure to walk through the rental a final time and scan for damages to contents or the property itself. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the property manager isn't available, remember to take pictures of the property to record its condition at check-out.
- Remember to leave feedback! Property owners rely on great feedback to stimulate new reservations. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationers will be thankful you shared your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to remedy it.
