The departure cleaning fee is in place to compensate the cleaner, the cost of toiletries, and the laundering of the towels, linens, and linens. (please note that the mini waterpark across street and movie theater are not available to our guests)
While we do our absolute best to ensure that all of our condos are cleaned, prepared, and comfortable for all of our guests, we do want to note that this resort is over 60 years old. Tricks and tips to get the very best rental experience:
Money saving strategies:
- Reserve your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacations during Christmas and Thanksgiving get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- To get the largest rental home for your budget, we recommend booking in the Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at popular Myrtle Beach attractions and restaurants. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
- Some hosts and property managers offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your group.
- Booking websites usually offer renters an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for additional information.
- Find a copy of your local Myrtle Beach area magazine when you check-in. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local stories, travel guide magazines contain deals for nearby attractions, tours, restaurants, and shops.
Planning, selecting, and booking the rightvacation home:
- Start by selecting your potential vacation weeks and a spending budget.
- Determine how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration you need. Beautiful Ocean Front Double Queen Suite with Full Kitchen, Sea Mist Resort 20705 has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rentals search.
- Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is normally available on booking websites. Otherwise, email the property owner before reserving the rental. Note that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which oftentimes includes pull out couches in living rooms. You will need to establish what is optimal for your trip.
- Some rentals allow pets, but some do not. Allowable types of pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and additional charges may apply. Ask the owner about pet restrictions before booking.
- If there's an individual Myrtle Beach attraction you are crazy about, search for rentals that are either nearby, or those that cater to your needs.
- Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. Remember to confirm all necessary amenities are available and included before booking
Tips for a fantastic stay:
- Get the owner's contact number and entry/exit procedures for your rental property. We recommend storing the host's information in your smartphone and wallet.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, elevator or kitchen appliance. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent many issues.
- Lock your rental property while you are out! Don't let burglars ruin your trip.
- To make certain damages are not linked to your family's stay, inspect the rental for any problem areas upon check in. Get in touch with the property manager right away to report any issues. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having a record of concerns and contact attempts will be helpful.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like unpleasant vacationers disrupting your life at home. Use the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great beaches and attractions you would have not otherwise known!
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can often help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to order delicious takeout, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
- Re-check every room of the property to make sure that you've packed all belongings on check-out day. Remember to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Inspect the rental one final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We recommend walking through with the host whenever possible. If the manager isn't available, remember to take photos and video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
- Did your group have a excellent time? Many rental management companies make it easy for travelers to provide reviews. If your property and/or property manager was wonderful, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was defective and they failed to address it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
