Getting the best Myrtle Beach rental experience:
When to visit & When to book:
- The sooner you can book, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation homes are booked early. Booking your rental home six - twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and book your vacation home.
- Summer is high season in Myrtle Beach. Reserve your Myrtle Beach rental in Fall or Spring to enjoy gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
- Booking websites frequently offer customers an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for program terms and fees.
- Often, management companies and vacation rental houses supply Myrtle Beach area travel guide magazines that include coupons, either offered directly by local businesses, or by way of a partnership between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.
Filter your rental search:
- To start, have your family agree to trip dates and a maximum budget.
- Decide how many beds and the configuration your family needs. Book now for the Super Summer..family, fun, golf, shop, and dining! has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rentals search.
- Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts & types is often accessible online. If they are not listed, email or call the property manager before you reserve the vacation property. Remember that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds.
- If your family is traveling with pets, you will need a property that allows animals. Make sure to ask for details on breed, size, and type requirements. Some hosts charge pet deposits and fees.
- If there's an individual Myrtle Beach attraction you long to visit, browse homes that are either near by, or those that cater to your desires.
- Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for those with limited mobility. Confirm all required amenities are available and included before reserving a rental.
Considerations for your stay:
- Add the property manager's information to your phone. Print and take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, intercom or appliance. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief call can prevent quite a few problems.
- Lock your rental home while you're out. Protect the owner's property and your things!
- Make a record of any damages to the property during check in, and immediately contact the property manager. We specifically recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain time stamps that can be beneficial if a dispute is filed.
- Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay more pleasurable. You'll increase your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are often a fantastic resource to find the best local beaches and hangouts.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Locals can frequently help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
- Upon check-out, take a walk-through to confirm you didn't forget anything. Re-check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- Did you have a wonderful time? Many vacation rental websites make it easy for travelers to provide reviews. If your rental and/or property management company was terrific, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was imperfect and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
