How to book the best Myrtle Beach vacation home experience:

Finding the best rental value:

  • The sooner your group can reserve a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation homes are reserved early. Reserving your vacation home up to 12 months before your vacation is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation home.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Myrtle Beach. Book your Myrtle Beach rental property in Fall or Spring to enjoy gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer months.
  • Some property managers offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Ask your host or property manager if discounts are available for your group.
  • Property managers often offer customers an option to buy vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which generally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.
  • Look for your local visitors guide when you check-in. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great articles, travel guides contain money saving offers on nearby restaurants, attractions, and tours.

Choosing the perfect rental in the Myrtle Beach area:

  • Start by choosing your a vacation week and a spending budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration you need. Close to the beach #2 Great 2 bedrooms condo! has 3 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is generally accessible on booking websites. Otherwise, contact the property manager before reserving the home. Remember that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds and bunks. You'll need to work out which bed configuration is right for your vacation group.
  • Some properties allow pets, but some do not. Acceptable types of dog or cat, size and breeds may be restricted, and additional fees may apply. Ask your host about allowable breeds and types before booking.
  • Is your family looking for particular amenities? Most rental websites include amenity lists and search filters. Use these to your advantage to find the perfect rental home.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. Remember to confirm all required amenities are included before reserving a rental

More tips for your visit:

  • Get the owner's contact number and entry/exit procedures for your . We recommend storing the manager's information in your smartphone.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, elevator or thermostat. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief phone call prevents many problems.
  • Lock your rental while you're out and about. Keep your property safe!
  • To make certain that damages aren't linked to your family's visit, note any problem areas when you arrive. message the property manager immediately to relay any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having the recorded problems and contact attempts will be helpful.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like unpleasant vacationers bothering your home life. Practice the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great restaurants and scenic spots you would have never otherwise known about!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can frequently help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to find the best bike paths, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Re-check the property to make sure that you've packed all personal items at check-out. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • After your trip, leave a review! Hosts rely on excellent feedback to compel more reservations. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other families will appreciate that you share your review and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to fix it.
