Booking the best rental experience:

When to visit & When to reserve a Myrtle Beach rental home:

  • To book the best rental within your budget, we recommend booking in the Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at the beach and popular Myrtle Beach attractions. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
  • The earlier your group can reserve a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The most desirable rental properties are booked very early. Booking your rental home up to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners often offer guests an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for more information.
  • Often, property management companies supply Myrtle Beach area travel guide magazines that include special deals, either offered directly by local companies, or through a relationship between the management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Filter your search:

  • Select your dates and spending budget.
  • Decide how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration your group requires. Coastal Escape: 1BR King Suite @ Wyndham Seawatch has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed counts is regularly available online. If not, contact the property owner before you book the vacation home. Remember that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which frequently includes pull-out couches. You'll need to establish what configuration is suitable for your vacation family.
  • If there's an individual Myrtle Beach attraction you long to visit, look for rentals that are either nearby, or those that cater to your desires.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for those with limited mobility. Confirm all necessary amenities are included before booking.
  • If your family is bringing pets, you must book a pet-friendly vacation rental. Get specifics on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Usually, hosts charge additional pet fees.

Have a great stay:

  • We recommend storing the owner's information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • Upon check-in, record any issues with the rental property and immediately contact the property manager. Keep records of all correspondence just in case a dispute arises.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, A/V setup or washer/dryer. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief text message prevents lots of issues.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like obnoxious visitors disrupting your peaceful home. Use the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great local food and attractions you would have not otherwise known!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can frequently help. Who better to ask where to take kids for a treat, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Lock your rental home while you're out and about. Protect your property!
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, walk through the rental property to confirm you've collected all personal items. Check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Leave a review! Property owners rely on good ratings to compel more bookings. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other vacationers will be thankful you shared your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to fix it.
