Strategies to get the best vacation property experience:
Get the most from your vacation rental budget:
- In the Myrtle Beach area, The earlier your group can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The best rental properties are reserved early. Reserving your rental 6-12 months before your vacation is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation rental.
- Summer is the most expensive season in coastal SC. Booking in Fall or Spring months is one of our best tips for saving money on your rental home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of desirable homes.
- Some property management companies offer special rates for veterans and active duty military. It's always a good idea to check with your property manager to see if special discounts are available for your group before you book.
- Property managers typically offer customers an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually will cost you 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
- Many property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Myrtle Beach area visitors guides that include money-saving offers, either offered directly by local companies, or by way of a relationship with the management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.
Use filters to search efficiently:
- Choose a designated group leader, choose your dates, and select a maximum budget.
- Note the number beds and the configuration your group requires. Coastal Tranquility - King Efficiency 3rd Floor has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our search.
- Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is generally accessible on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, call the property owner before you reserve your rental. Remember that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which often includes pull out couches in living rooms.
- If your group is traveling with pets, you'll need to search for a rental that allows animals. Ask for specifics on breed, weight, and type requirements. Be aware that some property owners charge additional pet fees.
- If there's a particular Myrtle Beach destination you love, look for properties that are either close by, or those that cater to your requirements.
- Suitable accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. .
Some things to know before you go:
- We recommend storing the owner's information in your smartphone and wallet.
- Property managers are available to help! Feel free to ask questions during your stay.
- Keep your rental home locked while you're gone! Don't let crooks ruin your vacation.
- To ensure that no damages are linked to your stay, make a record of any problem areas during arrival. E-mail the rental manager immediately to record any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be useful.
- Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay more pleasurable. You will increase your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are an incredible source for finding the best local beaches and hangouts.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can frequently help. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
- Re-check the rental property to confirm that you've packed all of your belongings at departure. Make sure to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Go through the property one final time and look for any damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager is not available, take video and pictures of the property to record its condition at check-out.
- After your trip, leave feedback! Property owners rely on good feedback to stimulate more reservations. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other families will will be grateful for your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to remedy it.
