Myrtle Beach vacation rental booking tips and tricks:

When to go & When to book:

  • In the Myrtle Beach area, The earlier you can book, the better your selection will be. The most desirable properties are booked very early. Reserving your vacation property 6-12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental property.
  • Summer is high season in the Myrtle Beach area. To find the best vacation home within your budget, we strongly suggest reserving in Spring or Fall. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at your favorite restaurants and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during June, July, and August.
  • Owners sometimes offer promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Make sure to check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your family before you book.
  • Property managers typically offer customers an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for more information.
  • Find a copy of your local Myrtle Beach visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, visitor guide magazines contain money saving offers on local restaurants, attractions, and tours.

Planning and picking your prefect Myrtle Beach rental:

  • Start by choosing a vacation week and a maximum budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your group needs. Luxury King Suite in Myrtle Beach (Beach Peace), Beach Peace Oceanfront Condo has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Precise details about bedrooms and bed counts & types is generally accessible on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, reach out to the property manager before reserving the rental. Note that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes pull-out couches. You will need to determine what is right for your vacation family.
  • Some rental properties allow pets, and some do not. Allowable types of dog or cat, weight and breeds may be restricted, and added fees may apply. Ask the property manager about pet restrictions before booking.
  • Visiting for a single attraction? Use a map search to locate nearby rentals.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. .

During your stay:

  • Be sure you get the property manager's phone number and arrival/departure procedures for your .
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, intercom or thermostat. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent quite a few issues.
  • Lock your rental while you're away. Protect your property!
  • During check-in, make note of any damages to the property and immediately contact the property manager. Keep records of all coorespondence.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will magnify your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are often an excellent source for finding the best local attractions.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can frequently point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, walk through the rental to confirm you've collected all personal belongings. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • After your trip, leave a review! Property managers rely on good feedback to compel more reservations. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other families will be thankful you shared your review and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to solve it.
